About this deal

Throughout our wholesale range of chocolates and accessories, you’ll find plenty of bulk chocolate that means you can easily pull together your own Easter egg hunt kit. This is both a great gift idea for young families and something that your own little ones will adore. With a great selection of eggs wrapped in colourful foil, there are plenty of treats that will not only keep hidden chocolate clean, but also catch the eye of hunters! Our Easter Sweet Gift Boxes are perfect for keeping your discovered treats all in one place!

As this is a rich Easter chocolate cake, we don’t add vanilla extract as we would with a more plain cake but you can add a teaspoon of flavouring if you want to, it won’t affect the recipe. Can you make this chocolate sponge cake with brown sugar?Cream – in the UK, our fattiest liquid cream is double cream at 47% and it can’t be beaten. In other countries it may be known as heavy cream, or anything similar – if you are worried that the cream is lower in fat, whip the cream separately and fold it into the cheesecake mix rather than adding it in as a liquid. It takes less than 30 minutes to whip up a batch of these mini egg muffin cups in the oven, and you can eat them all throughout the week, meaning no more skipping breakfast! Our Chocolate Easter Cake with Mini Eggs is a great bake for the spring but you can easily vary it by topping with any mini Easter Eggs that you feel like. You could even just top with sprinkles for a bake that can be enjoyed at any time of the year. I love nothing more than seasonal treats and Easter is a great time to get your bake on. For me, simple bakes are the best and a nice and easy chocolate loaf cake, topped with Cadbury Mini Eggs is the perfect Easter bake to share and enjoy. What do you need to make this Mini Egg chocolate cake? Kid-friendly: Kids love these mini egg bites, and you can feel good serving them knowing that they are filled with wholesome ingredients. They are also super simple to make, so older kids can easily help make them.

You can store these bites in the fridge in an air-tight container for up to four days. Allow them to cool completely before storing. Are these egg cups freezer-friendly?For this Cadbury Mini Eggs cake recipe we usually use caster sugar or granulated sugar but light brown sugar works really well too. It’s such an easily adaptable recipe to use whatever you have to hand at the time. Definitely! You can also use other meats like cooked bacon, diced ham or ground turkey or sausage. How to Reheat Cadbury Dairy Milk Small Easter Egg Hunt Kit gives you the chocolate you need to put on a memorable scavenger hunt. There’s also a brilliant kit from Kinder. The Kinder Egg Hunt Maxi Kit not only comes in an adorable cardboard basket, but it supplies you with plenty of smooth and creamy chocolate that little ones will be very happy to find.

If your mornings are anything like mine, breakfast time can be super chaotic. These mini egg bites are a great make ahead option that will help you get breakfast on the table in record time and they’re so nutritious too! The tins are designed to be a fun, reusable gift for bakers, who we know love to include our eggs in their recipes whether that’s a Cream Egg tray bake or a Mini Egg topped Easter sponge. Yes! It’s one of those recipes that doesn’t take much time to prepare and makes a relatively large batch so you can eat them for several days or weeks. As you can see, it’s all things you probably have already. We use loaf tin liners to guarantee that bakes come out of the tin easily and they’re great when baking as gifts too. So here’s our Cadbury Chocolate Mini Egg Cake Recipe:

We top this Mini Eggs Easter cake with chocolate frosting and Cadburys Mini Eggs. I use ready made Cadbury Chocolate Icing but you can always make your own chocolate buttercream frosting or ganache if you want to. You could also cut the cake in half lengthways and add a layer of frosting in the middle too – or even vanilla buttercream for a nice flavour combination – and create a simple Easter layer cake. Others disagreed and were excitedly sharing the news with friends and family, tagging each other on social media and even requesting the tins as an alternative to Easter eggs.

However, we usually just make bakes as simple as possible so we normally keep this as a plain chocolate loaf cake with an indulgent Easter topping. The whole family love it. For the topping we crush the Mini Eggs slightly by placing them in a bag and hitting them with a rolling pin. You can just use whole Mini Eggs if you want but I love the look that the smashed chocolate eggs give to the cake. Yes! I would just recommend that you chop them very finely so that they don’t overwhelm the mini muffins and saute them in a bit of olive oil first to cook them before adding to the egg mixture. You could try broccoli or peppers! Can I use something other than smoked salmon? As we all know, it’s my favourite baking time of the year… (sorry Christmas, I love you really), and I am just in full on easter baking mode now. I always adore posting new easter recipes, such as my Creme Egg scotch eggs recently, and my mini egg brownies… but I couldn’t resist another mini egg themed bake already. This Mini Egg chocolate cake recipe is one of our favourite Easter treats and it’s so easy to make. But, if you’re looking for other Easter bakes, here’s our Easter Mini Egg Fridge Cake, Creme Egg Rice Krispie Cakes and Slow Cooker Cadbury Creme Egg Fudge. You can see all our Easter recipes to date here. What equipment do you need for this easy Easter Mini Egg cake recipe? Microwave: Wrap with a paper towel, then microwave for about 1 minute. If they’re frozen, you may need to microwave them for 2 minutes.

Oven: You can also try reheating them in the oven for about 5 minutes or so at 350F or until heated through. Soft cheese – also known as cream cheese, you always want to use a full-fat soft cheese. You can use supermarket own, a branded one such as Philadelphia, or you can even use mascarpone. Mascarpone is naturally sweeter, whereas other soft cheeses have the classic tart cheesecake flavour. The cheesecake filling is essentially identical to my mini egg cheesecake recipe, because this is just an individual version. I have many cheesecake recipes already, such as my regular mini egg cheesecake and a few mini ones, such as my mini lemon & raspberry cheesecakes – and they are just so cute. I love anything cheesecake as you can tell, but make them small an individual, and I love them more.
