It is currently an experimental feature, but the following watchers have experimental custom visualizations:

The Archenhold-Sternwarte (Archenhold-Observatory) is the largest and oldest public observatory in Germany. Since 1896, visitors have been able to observe the sky here – in the middle of Treptower Park – with the longest movable refracting telescope in the world. The building's attractions include the "Great Refractor", the historic Einstein Hall, the Zeiss-Kleinplanetarium (small planetarium) and a Museum of Astronomy. With its diverse offerings, the Archenhold-Sternwarte invites you on a journey through the world of astronomy. Discover the dimensions of the universe, the solar system and the historical development of astronomy in the exhibitions and marvel at a giant iron meteorite! Museum of Celestial Science On the regular satellite images, you can see an optimal combination of visible light and infrared satellite imagery. During the day, the satellite shows cloud images similar to what clouds look like from space with the naked eye but highly zoomed in. During the dark hours of the day, it switches to infrared satellite images, allowing you to still see cloud cover. The Museum of Celestial Science is open during the Archenhold Observatory's event times and shows the fascinatiing history of astronomy from its inception to today. awatcher - A compiled watcher for X11 and Wayland to replace the original active window and AFK watchers, with workarounds for KDE and Gnome on Wayland. The visible satellite shows cloud images as they are seen with the naked eye from space, but heavily zoomed in. So, you're looking down from space at how the cloud cover moves over the Earth. The visible satellite images are not usable during the night as the clouds are no longer illuminated by the sun. aw-watcher-afk - Watches for mouse & keyboard activity to detect if the user is active (by default, an inactive period of at least 3 minutes is flagged as AFK: away from keyboard).

During the dark hours of the night, the night microphysics satellite images allow for a good distinction between low cloud cover (yellow colors), mid-level cloud cover (pink colors), and high cloud cover (red colors). If you see a blue color, there is no cloud cover present, and it's clear. During the day, the microphysics images are less usable as all cloud cover takes on pink hues.Watches the actively edited file and associated metadata like path, language, and project name (folder name of git root) With infrared satellite images, you can also see where clouds are moving and where clearings occur during the dark hours of the day. Especially high clouds associated with weather fronts and heavy showers are well distinguished on these images. The clouds are visible in white colors on the infrared images. During the day, the infrared images are less usable as the contrast decreases.
