Tailor Made: These Sill Protectors have been tailor made to fit a Volkswagen Golf Mk8 released 2020 4 door. Engraved: The engraving in the photo, shown above, is actually etched into the Stainless Steel. It will not wear off. That a speedometer has been fitted which is capable of indicating speed in both miles per hour and kilometres per hour, either simultaneously, or by operation of a switch. With this conversion the odometer (distance travelled) will continue to record in kilometers (there is no legal requirement for this to be converted)

Please do not use internet or other images as these may not be the same as your dials in small but important details, we need to see your dials. Number of Sill Protectors: There are 4 Sill Protectors in the set. The 2 front Sill Protectors are 520mm long, and the 2 rears are 180mm long.

Note: To distinguish the Mk8 Golf from the Mk7/Mk7.5 look at the headlights. The Mk8 has unique headlights, as shown above. These Dials are ‘EASY FIT. The speedometer must be marked up to the maximum speed of the vehicle, with graduations at 1, 2, 5, or 10mph, and with values at intervals not exceeding 20mph. For this change we can accept the following options. Please note: This dial is for models with protruding perspex calibration markings. The best way to identify if you need this dial is to see if you have a small code under the mileage window of your speedo. The code is either AH01 or AH02 We need to see as much detail as possible including warning light icons. Switching the ignition and the lights on and opening the door, bonnet, boot etc. to activate the warnings will assist in us identifying the correct dial for you. A professional, single, miles per hour, overlay is applied directly to the speedometer face plate, not the glass front plate (the overlay must be durable and accurate, with markings visible in both day and night driving conditions).

We also supply to any private individual needing to convert his speedometer. This is a job that most private car owners can undertake themselves. Illumination: Like the original dials, the letters, digits & calibrations etc. on these dials are printed with specialized translucent inks. They will illuminate in the same way as the original dials, using the existing lighting in the cluster.
