In 1995, Q included Wish in its publication "In Our Lifetime: Q 's 100 Best Albums 1986–94", a list compiled to celebrate its 100thissue.

Thirty years later comes a new edition which features a whole pile of demos and different mixes on the 3CD version. On 25 November 2022, a remastered 30th-anniversary deluxe edition of Wish was released, containing four previously unreleased demos with vocals, instrumental demos, the Lost Wishes instrumental cassette and remix versions. The album's second single, "Friday I'm in Love", was released on 15 May 1992, a Friday, [23] later reaching number six on the UK Singles Chart, number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100, and number one on the Modern Rock Tracks chart. This tracklist is so strange, but it all works out so much better than I thought it would, especially the 30+ minutes sides.FEATURING THE ORIGINAL ‘WISH’ ALBUM NEWLY REMASTERED, 21 PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED DEMOS, AND THE FOUR ‘LOST WISHES’ INSTRUMENTALS NEVER BEFORE AVAILABLE DIGITALLY OR ON CD. The only drawback to that is onstage it's very confusing sometimes, especially with lots of phasing effects going on. Then on "A Letter to Elise," there's similar swishing sound during the instrumental break before the last verse.

The Spanish pressing is INCREDIBLE and worth seeking out if you truly want to hear this album in all its glory. in case you ever wondered why that particular track sounds so very uplifting, psychoacoustics might very well play a role here.Compared to my CD this sounds a lot more open, and generally more analog/natural; All around improvement.
