Whilst electric blankets are designed to create a warm and cosy environment when getting into bed, they are not recommended for overnight use and should be turned off when getting into bed or set on a timer to turn off within a short while. There’s no timer, however, so you’ll need to remember to switch it off, or it has a nine-hour auto shut-off.

It’s made from microfleece polyester fabric enriched with silver, so there’s no need for cleaning quite as often. We made up a double bed and turned on the electric blankets to measure how even and consistent the temperatures were across their different heat settings.
