The G602 is a right-handed mouse, and is most comfortable when used with a palm-grip. A thumb-rest juts out from the side for added support and ribbed rubber improves grip when your palms get sweaty. The curvature of the mouse feels natural, and we’re happy to say this is one of the most comfortable designs we’ve ever used. The ability to adjust sensitivity on-the-fly was an underrated benefit for those times when you need more precision—especially when looking through scopes or making micro-adjustments in first-person shooter games. The G602 is a comfortable mouse, much more so than the Razer Naga, and one that you could quite easily use for work/leisure activities outside of gaming. We used it for full work days without any issues with wrist fatigue, for instance.

Large scale distributed computing systems are now commonplace, implemented through the use of “cloud infrastructures” where computing and storage resources are pooled into data centres around the globe. In scientific terms, these are examples of the wider field of Distributed Systems. Software now forms a central aspect of our lives. From the applications we run on our phones to the satellites in space, all modern technology is enabled by software. This module provides an introduction to the field of Software Development - the processes and skills associated with designing and constructing computer programs. Students are not expected to have any previous experience with the field of computing, and will study the contemporary knowledge, skills and techniques needed to develop high-quality computer software. This includes a thorough treatment of the principles of computer programming and how these principles can be applied using a range of contemporary and established languages such as Python, JavaScript and C. They will discover how programming languages can be classified and how to choose the best language for the task at hand. The shapes of the two mice, the Logitech G502 and G602, are very similar, but the G502 has a more pleasing aesthetic that looks like something out of a futuristic science fiction movie. The G602 is one of the first mice designed by Logitech with a more pronounced arch at the palm and index finger which makes it ideal for people who use a palm grip. The G602 also has slip-resistant grips, which makes the Logitech G602 the leader in grip and comfort. People who want to use the mouse for more general applications may not appreciate a light slide across the mousepad, but gamers who put in long hours in MMO or shooter games will like the fact that they can make the mouse lighter and therefore avoid some of the associated fatigue that comes from using a heavy mouse for extended periods of time. – Specs In this module, students will build upon the foundations of algorithms and their complexity to develop a deeper understanding of algorithmic approaches to computational problem solving. They will explore computational complexity theory, which allows us to consider the very nature of computability – including non-deterministic polynomial (NP) complexity classes such as NP-hard, NP-complete and the classes of problems which cannot be solved. Students will be introduced to classical approaches to problem solving such as divide and conquer, recursion, and parallel approaches, emphasizing their relative benefits and weakness to different classes of problem. They will study advanced data structures in depth, such as tries, heaps, suffix arrays, k-d trees, and distributed hash tables, and explore the approaches for their efficient construction and use.
