Samsonite Neopulse Spinner Suitcase

It’s a beautiful and stylish suitcase, but what I love the most is the ease with which it glides along almost without my having to touch it (almost!). Despite some concerns about showing scratches, this is still one of the best hand luggage options outside of the high-end fashion brands. I was a little put off by the design, as I was worried all my clothes would be seen via the see-thru shell. But the internal netting kept that all safe and secure. Though be prepared to turn a few heads when rolling this around Heathrow. When you open your carry on spinner, you will see that both sides are separately zipped closed. This is a lightweight material, which comes in very useful for keeping everything in place. On one side, there are straps to hold things down (called cross-ribbons). The bottom of this side is lined, which helps you arrange things, as well as housing the telescopic handle.

It has the same four smooth wheels that I loved so much with my previous case, and it has a zip cover for the both the upper and lower compartments. My previous one only had the zip cover for the upper compartment, so if you opened it upside down your things would fall out. There are two in this case. The first is that most owners were blown away by the quality, sturdiness and the good looks of these cases. Some of them were positively salivating (at least that is how it sounded!). This is not an expendable suitcase, and in terms of storage space, what you see is what you get. And, while you might not need to expand the 30” version of the Neopulse, it would certainly be a helpful feature on the smaller versions. Expandable suitcases are a must for people who tend to return from their trips with more items than they originally brought, and I am one of them. Polycarbonate is a durable material, and it also has an excellent thermal resistance. However, it is prone to scuffs and scratches, so don’t expect this suitcase to look shiny and new for a long time. The ribbed shell will help with this though because the scratches will be somewhat less visible. So, that is a big plus.
