The design is fairly sturdy as far as swing chairs go, however is light enough to be moved from room to room without too much hassle. The chair cradles the baby well, and does not seem to exacerbate additional vomiting for babies with reflux, any more than your average chair. It is inbuilt with several relaxing melodies, as well as a sound machine, and has five swing speeds. Personally, my baby has not fallen asleep in the chair, but does seem quite docile and content for up to about 20 minutes, depending if there is something interesting within view. h2>
