Cursor to the first "Destination" setting (directly to the right of the Source box you just set) and use the value dial to select "Manual."

The EP-1 Expression Pedal works great when using modulation or delay effects as the range of control it offers allows me to manipulate my sound in real-time without having to constantly adjust knobs manually. Nothing in this EULA affects Your statutory rights if the laws of your state or country do not permit it to do so. Customer Reviews

You use an expression pedal like the Roland EV-5 to sweep the "Auto Wah" effect in the Jupiter-50 to create a classic "wah-wah" pedal effect.

The new customer accounts will very clearly show what Roland/Boss products the customer owns but also pull through any relevant information or services available to the customer in support of their product(s) P. Use the Software to create other software, products or technologies unless the Software contains Development Tools as described in Section 6; I really don't like the feel of any of these pedals so if I do go ahead and upgrade, I will buy several proper E.Ball volume pedals and put different pots in them. I was looking for the cheap way to get the M-audio pedals to work better (since they seem to feel so much nicer than my Roland EV series volume pedals...which are now pretty beat up). D. Install Updates on Enterprise Products (e.g., server, networking, storage, integrated solutions, and data protection appliances) that have gone end of service life unless Roland otherwise agrees in writing; Evaluation Software. This EULA does not license use of Software for evaluation purposes (“Evaluation Software”) except to the extent these terms may be invoked by the separate license terms and conditions accompanying that Evaluation Software. The Roland EV-5 Expression Pedal is a foot pedal designed for use with keyboards, and other expression-compatible devices like guitar pedals. Itprovides a more dynamic and professional level of control to your performance, enabling real-time adjustments to be made with ease. Whether you play keyboard, synths, or guitar, the level of control afforded by this simple little unit is extraordinary. This Mission Engineering device is an all-metal expression pedal designed for use with effects pedals, synthesizers, and more. It is built for lasting reliability and years of smooth operation due to its top-drawer components used throughout. The Roland EV-5 can work in combination with other manufacturers, including Boss, so mixing and matching your current pedal board should not present a problem. Transferability. You may transfer the Software on a permanent basis as part of the sale or transfer of the hardware system on which the Software is loaded, provided that You retain no copies of any version of the Software.

Q. Share or publish the results of any benchmarking of the Software without Roland’s prior written consent; The Larger Boss FV-500 H and L models have dual pots for volume and expression. Exp pots are 10K linear, so it can work as a 10K Expression pedal. Never heard of a Roland EV-10 - but if you use a 1/4" TRS (stereo) cable it should work the same as a the Roland EV-5 Whether you currently own a Nektar foot controller or any instrument with a built-in expression input, the Nektar NX-P Universal Expression Pedalwill be a welcome addition. Perhaps the most interesting feature is that this model is equipped with a polarity switch. In other words, it can be used with nearly any item that already contains an expression input. The Roland RE-201 Space Echo was a game-changer when it came out. Equipped with three evenly-spaced tape heads and a spring reverb tank, it was capable of producing anything from clean, single delays to dense, rhythmic echoes and ambient washes. But there was more to it than that. The RE-201’s appealing sound was influenced by many factors, from the warm compression of magnetic tape saturation to the evolving modulation produced by motor speed fluctuations, friction, and other elements. Analogue preamp circuitry was also a key ingredient in the Space Echo’s rich sonic recipe. Reborn in Digital Form May 2021. The following changes will bring consistency to all sales territories as currently there are local variances. Minimum “Standard” manufacturer’s warranty will now be 2-years (increase from 1-year standard, down from 3-years extended) The terms of this Section are agreed allocations of risk constituting part of the consideration for Roland’s licensing of Software to You and will apply even if there is a failure of the essential purpose of any limited remedy, and regardless of whether a party has been advised of the possibility of the liabilities. If applicable law prohibits any portion of the limits on liability stated below, the parties agree that such limitation will be automatically modified, but only to the extent required to make the limitation compliant with applicable law.

Third Party Rights. Other than as expressly set out in this EULA, this EULA does not create any rights for any person who is not a party to it, and no person who is not a party to this EULA may enforce any of its terms or rely on any exclusion or limitation contained in it. To use the FV-500H as an expression pedal, you will need an optional connection cable (stereo 1/4" TRS phone plugs at both ends)." The customer no longer needs to register the product, however, a new Roland Account system/campaign will launch later this month And not all Expression Pedals are identical - for example here is how Line-6 and Fractal expect their Expression pedals to be wired I. Provide access to the Software or allow use by any third party, other than Permitted Third Parties, without Roland's prior written consent;K. Modify or create derivative works based upon the Software, or decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to derive source code from the Software, in whole or in part; The EV-10 was replaced by the Roland EV-5 very early so there aren't that many EV-10s around. It is very solid as it is made by the same heavy-duty diecast aluminum housing that's on the BOSS FV-200 and FV-100. The Roland EV-5 is for comparison made of plastic. There's a minimum volume adjustment knob that allows the user to select the degree of effect and volume desired at the minimum point. Must be set correctly for EV-5 to function Hey I'd like to caution everyone about some potential pitfalls connecting non-Roland expression pedals to the FC-300. The FC-300 is expecting a specific resistance to be presented by your expression pedal. If the pedal that you have differs from the resistance that the Roland expression pedals, then your pedal may not work properly. You may find that moving the pedal from full "heel" to "toe" position only produces a small change in parameter values in teh VG-99/FC-300, or that you get no value change from some portion of the pedal movement. Hello All, I have recently gone through trying to find an expression pedal that would work for my Roland VR-730. In short, I experienced the same issue as many of you have where, the pedal does not seem to work through the full travel of the pedal and in some cases also does not ever go fully to zero volume. I went through three pedals by different manufactures before I figured out why this was happening. After trial and error on my own failed, I went to the "reference" manual which you can get online from Roland and learned that for the Roland VR-730, there are four Expression Curves programmed. What I saw in the manual was that of the four curves you can choose from, none go to zero and only one has a curve that does what you might expect a "volume" control to due (smooth up and down adjustment of volume). The other three don't make much of a noticeable change for the first third and last third of the travel and this is by design of the programmed curve. So, in summary, I believe the pedals to be fine and it's the programmed expression curve in the keyboard that creates the perceived issue.
