About this deal

Only use a breathable sealer, otherwise EASY Joint may or may not remain permeable, and you may seal in any natural efflorescence passing through the stone. Porous or textured tiles/slabs may require sealing before grouting with a suitable impregnating sealer. It's important to note that the two products aren't interchangeable, so if you've already started a project with one, you can't simply switch to the other, but the colours are a very similar with 3 of the ranges. When the water has drained away, a “flicking” motion with a clean soft hand brush (not the same one used to apply the compound) will aid the removal of any loose grains.

When used correctly and the EASYJoint instructions are followed there will be no staining or hazing to the paving. The paving joints are then completely filled without the need to kneel down and compress the grout into the joints by hand, saving your back and saving time!

It's too dark to use on most projects, but where you have used dark or black slabs for a patio, and you wanted to blend the whole area together, then this is a good option if you didn't want to see the joints at all.

With no need to mix, this compound is quick to brush in and perfect to use alongside various forms of paving material.

Water can also help the compound flow in to the full depth of the joint cavity and aids compression of the compound. This paving grout can be applied to existing exterior floorings or used when installing a new feature. A range of four solid colours designed to complement any porcelain colour, whatever your tastes are. If using the wet method, ensure that the bedding mix is permeable and made up from a mix no stronger of 6 parts sharp sand to one cement. The resin in the product cures the sand as soon as it is exposed to air and will ultimately set solid over 48 hours giving you a complete solution for grouting your paving without having to scrape through it on your hands and knees.

EASYJoint is perfect for patios, paving and paths that only have pedestrian foot traffic, however will not withstand the weight of a car or larger van. If water is retained in the joint for long periods, rather than passing through, the joint may fail. However, the sand element of EASYJoint is a natural product mined from quarries and shades can vary.Available in different colours, EasyJoint holds up well against weathering and is incredibly long-lasting on joints that are 3mm wide and over. Freezing weather will cause the process to virtually cease and it can take many days for the joints to set hard.

Both have sand binder in them and work in similar ways however EASYSeal BCS is the superior product and lasts longer. Utilise the same method when working with porcelain paving tiles as with working with stone or concrete. Detailed instructions on how to joint paving with our sweep in sand can be found inside the EASYJoint tub. Sealing is particularly recommended for porous paving slabs and setts prior to laying and jointing with EASYJoint, to reduce the risk of staining or efflorescence. Jointology is the science of proper jointing for all kinds of small element paving from cobble to flags.Never allow EASY Joint to pile up in clumps or allow the paving to dry with any remaining grout on its surface. It is easier to use EASY Joint with two people, one of them to sweep the compound and the other one to spray the water. When using the wet method - the water is used to assist our jointing compound into the joints, it will self-compact and fill any voids.
