Throughout the writing and recording process, the band honed this new sound in some of music’s most hallowed halls, including New York’s Electric Lady Studios and Nashville’s Historic RCA Studio A which between them have hosted David Bowie, Dolly Parton, The Beach Boys, Adele, Taylor Swift, Maggie Rogers and more. Next year, the Take That musical Greatest Days will also head on a UK and Ireland tour. The new tour coincides with the release the Greatest Days film. Early this year Take That revealed that they were writing and producing their next album which is set to be released just this summer.
GREATEST DAYS Musical– The Official Take That Musical will embark on a major UK and Ireland tour from 5 May 2023 and will coincide with the summer 2023 release of the official movie version of this smash-hit musical. After a highly successful reunion tour in 2019, which saw them perform to sold-out arenas across the country, this announcement comes as music to the ears of their dedicated fanbase. Fans also took to social media to voice how excited they were at the prospect of seeing the 90's boy band. At the end of the Progress tour I began to question whether it might be the right time for me to not continue on with Take That. At the start of this year and with my full knowledge and blessing the guys began writing new material.I have spent some of the best years of my life with Take That and I’d like to thank everyone who has been a part of my journey, including my band mates, who I feel are like brothers to me. Most especially my gratitude goes to all of the good and kind, beautiful and ever-loyal fans of the band, without whom none of this could have been possible. Thank you. After six years of enjoying solo endeavors, Take That have announced that they will be dropping their new album on 26th September, titled ‘This Life’.

The musical features many of Take That's hits, telling the story of a group of five best friends in the 1990s, who are obsessed with their favourite boy band. 20 years later, the friends reunited with a plan to see their heartthrobs one last time in what could be the Greatest Days of their lives. Former Take That member and pop legend, Robbie Williams is not currently expected to join the group on tour. In 2010, Take That and Robbie Williams came together once again as a complete group of five members, resulting in the creation of the immensely successful album and tour called ‘Progress’. This was the last tour Take That did as a five-piece band.Take That are renowned for their huge productions and incredible live shows, and currently hold the record for the most performances at London’s The O2 with 34 headline shows. It was during this period that they also had their final collaboration with Jason Orange, who departed from the band in 2014, marking the end of his involvement in recording and touring with them. This Life On Tour will see the trio - Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald - joined on tour by Olly Murs.

Take That members Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald have announced they will be touring after the release of their ninth studio album and new single, Windows.
Take That’s last tour was in 2019 when they completed the ‘Greatest Hits Live’ (also known as ‘Odyssey’ tour) as a trio. The tour was to celebrate the 30th anniversary as a band. The musicality of Windows hints at what listeners can expect from This Life, the band’s ninth studio album and their first since 2017’s Wonderland. Beautiful melodies, soaring choruses, sophisticated harmonies beautifully blending the trio’s voices permeate the new album, due for release on November 24. However, on previous occasions, Robbie has performed as a surprise guest at Take That concerts, so we can expect that he will make a few exclusive appearances and will possibly show up at BST Hyde Park to join his ex-bandmates. Take That fans are set to be delighted at the return of the iconic 90s boyband as they announce a huge stadium and arena live tour for 2024 as well as their ninth studio album.
