Not sure why VW only produced that for the European market as it's a much nicer dash than the UK T5's got! The android auto feature works smoothly, only problem I had was that it wasn't working but after a quick fix of turning off usb debugging it worked. I have a T5 Multivan v6 with RNS 2 (CD version) and I was planning to upgrade to a more modern android car radio. It will require a complete rewire from the new radio to the amplifier outputs and you will need some crossovers or a 12 channel amplifier. The preferable option is to use the RCA outputs as these signals aren't processed by your head unit - and it's sent direct to the amp to take care of.The ATOTO comes with its own GPS antenna but if I can use the existing one it would be great as it is on the roof of the car.
