About this deal

In terms of how they compare, the 4GEE Home Router 2 is a very similar device, sporting all the same key specs, as the chart above shows. So I am still unable to get any connectivity -- from my Ubiquiti USG connected to the B535 LAN port -- other than an IPv6 ping to an actual IPv6 address (not a hostname; they don't resolve).

While Huawei makes every effort at the time of publication to ensure the accuracy of product information it provides, it may be necessary for Huawei to make subsequent changes and adjustments to text and images so that they match the performance, specifications, indexes, and components of the actual product.

If you are using the B535 indoors and are getting a poor signal reception then you may want to consider using an outdoor 4G antenna. I will still read the EE 464XLAT documents later, although I fear that that may be a dead end, at least as far as the B535/USG combo is concerned.

Plenty of traffic -- such as requests to DNS servers -- goes outbound from the USG to the B535 but, apart from ping responses, absolutely nothing comes back. Given that the USG is connecting to 4G via the Huawei B535, are you sure that the USG actually needs to support 464XLAT? For more information on the specific testing conditions, refer to the aforementioned product details. So if you’re limited to a 4G signal and don’t want wired broadband, then the Huawei B535 is a top choice. I thought that it would be the B535 that has to encapsulate (if that's the right word) IPv4 traffic from the USG?If your priority for a 4G router is a fast, reliable connection - which it should be - then the Huawei B535 remains a very solid option. Surf on the high-speed 4G network and share high-speed internet effortlessly on all your home devices.
