There are a lot of characters that have been sitting dormant for literal seasons now, and popular ones at that. All eyes are going to be on Mikasa, Armin, Hange, and especially Levi to try and stop Eren from destroying the whole world. We have seen tremendous losses so far, with most of the show’s original cast of side characters having been lost to some form of destruction or another. Could this ragtag group of Subjects of Ymir pull this off? As the war rages on, the story delves deeper into the history of the Titans and the world they inhabit. The true nature of the conflict between the Eldians and Marley is revealed, and Eren’s plan to save his people and end the cycle of violence is put into motion. The main character Eren Yeager, who possesses the power of the Founding Titan, is living in Marley as a spy. He has infiltrated the Marleyan military and is working with Zeke Yeager, his half-brother and the holder of the Beast Titan, to carry out a secret plan.

There isn’t an episode list for this part, for it was announced in February that the final story of this show was cut into two halves, of which this is the first one. The other half will air sometime towards the tail end of 2023. The two episodes are going to both be hour-long specials, making the entirety of the story that is left be adapted in almost a feature-length manner. Makes you think, why didn’t they just wait and release a movie? But that’s for another article.

The season begins with Marley, a nation that has been at war with the Mid-East Allied Forces for four years. Marley uses Titans as weapons of war and has been using Eldian children as candidates to inherit the power of the Titans. Generally speaking, this is what the episodes will cover. But be prepared for additional detours. Even someone like Floch, who is probably still alive while appearing to be drowning, will be put to the test by what is about to unfold. Eren has his fans. The Special Event took place on November 13th, 2022, at Tokyo Tachikawa Stage Garden, attended by various voice actors of the series, including Romi Paku (Hange), Kishou Taniyama (Jean), Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa), Yuki Kaji (Eren Yeager), Marina Inoue (Armin), Hiro Shimono (Connie), and Ayane Sakura (Gabi). Yuko Ando, the singer of the sixth ending theme song of the final season and Ai Higuchi, the singer of the seventh ending theme song, also attended the event. Like the other parts of the show, Part 3 is being produced by MAPPA. This season MAPPA also produced Dance Dance Danseur and is producing Chainsaw Man’s anime adaptation.Reiner Braun – A former member of the Survey Corps who possesses the power of the Armored Titan and is now fighting for Marley.

The event was divided into two parts where the first half was an orchestra concert and the second part was a special talk show. It was confirmed at the event that part three would be the last, meaning it's going to cover the remainder of the manga that has yet to be adapted. The one-hour special is going to air on the 4th of March at 12:25 AM Japanese Time and on the 3rd of March everywhere else. The episode will be released at the same time in the entire world.
