About this deal

These days, I think my reading bucket list could use an update (fewer old white men, more marginalized authors from all time periods), but I do like to revisit it and work the books in when I can. You can make sections for each book you read and include details about your book club gatherings as well as insights from other club members. The notebook is delivered in a presentation box which is helpful for readers who like to safely archive completed journals for future reference. As a teen, I spent a lot of time listening to music and interacting with songs in the forms of writing down favorite lines and illustrating lyrics. Regardless of whether you read ten or 100 books a year, you probably try to keep a record of the books you’ve made your way through.

It has space to record up to 50 book reviews, as well as space to record new words learned while reading. Chapter 6 focuses on reading retention and using a reader’s notebook which has been life-changing for me. You could also just grab a binder or discbound notebook, find or create some templates, print them out, and make a pre-printed journal that works for you. Each of the 52 books on the shelf were eventually filled in with my 52 Book Club — 2020 Challenge reads. If you’re looking for a cute pre-made reading journal, you will love this review of this new book journal.

The best reading journals have at least 100 pages, can log at least 50 books, and are designed to suit your particular journaling needs. As with anything else in life, when you first get started, it may take some time to figure out your groove. A lovely little journal with everything from an index, a rating system, and some amazing quotes from books.I’m so excited that there’s a new reading journal coming out from the host of the podcast “What Should I Read Next? Additional space is provided for a review, notes, and quotes, as well as an overall star rating chart. A softcover notebook that’s perfect for those on the go, this journal is full of pages for reviews, wish lists, quotes, and empty checklists to help you stay motivated to read, read, read. Imo both the Husband and Wife have serious issues la, and neither of them really fulfil each other’s needs so I would recommend marital counselling and therapy lol.

You may also check out reflective writing examples when you find yourself writing one in the near future. Since there’s an entire world of wonderful books out there, something as simple as a “books to read” page in your journal can help you remember interesting titles. Each unlined page records the title, date read, author, nationality, edition, publisher, year published, original language, awards, and book type. If you’re just looking for a simple log of what you read and when, this is a low-barrier way to get started.I just completed the first challenge by reading one of the recommended books and was not disappointed. Even if it is just simply a draft, you would still need some feedback, whether they may be from your friends, family, or a professional editor. In addition to individual spreads for books, readers might also include their to-be-read and have-read list.
