About this deal

The sporting part of the Nerf community is increasingly standardizing on half-length of the same size of dart that Hasbro’s blasters have used for years, to the point nearly every player at my last Nerf war had at least one short dart blaster in their loadout. Rival guns generally shoot just a bit softer around 100 FPS, compared to the Hyper averages of 110+. The Hyper series is a relatively new type of blaster that fire Hyper Rounds, which are small balls made of soft rubber—similar to the Nerf Rival Series. The blasters use a new type of smaller round roughly half the size of standard RIVAL High-Impact Rounds. To make life a little easier (and to ensure you will never run out of ammo), the Siege includes 2 tactical rails – one on top and one located below the trigger guard.

It also fires its ammo at an impressive 110 FPS, which is the Hyper standard and well above the average Nerf blaster. This battery-powered nerf blaster also has two tactical rails—one on top and another on the right side of the blaster—that can be upgraded with N-Strike accessories such as ammo clips, flashlights, or even red dot optics. I feel Hasbro and Nerf will figure the ammo situation out and eventually put a blaster out that is more consistent. D-cell batteries power the Nemesis; however, it is also compatible with Nerf’s Rival Rechargeable Battery, which gives the gun more power and increases the fire rate! This elite blaster delivers foam at an optimal 150 FPS high-capacity dart blasting for intense Nerf wars. Packing a unique new kind of round that shatters safely on impact and leaves nothing left behind to pick up, it's an innovative design that side-steps one of the biggest problems with toys like this (finding all your darts afterward). Nerf maker Hasbro has heard you loud and clear, Adam Savages of the world: you want to be able to shoot foam projectiles for days, without carrying around a belt full of magazines or constantly stooping down to reload. The Kirin comes packed with everything you need to dominate Nerf battles right out of the box: two 7-round magazines, 20 shells, 20 half-length darts, three power springs, and a parts baggie.

It also mystifies me why Hasbro produced paintball-like hoppers and pods for easy refills without giving them a way to mate. The Kirin represents a major milestone as the first blaster elevated to an injection-molded design through a partnership with Phantom Tech.It doesn’t happen all the time, but the tackiness of the rounds can lead to a mass of ammo moving forward within the hopper, and not always lining up with the feeding system. It is very fun for closer-range target shooting, but it is a bit on the pricy side for what the performance offers. This is because they are made of very lightweight foam and are rather long, which causes them to osculate at higher speeds fly in whichever direction they see fit.

We recommend going the traditional epoxy/glue route for the rev switch, due to the design of the inside of the blaster grip. This gun is an awesome upgrade to the extremely popular Stfye and adds more customizability and an increase in accuracy due to its longer barrel.Feeding Inconsistency is also happening because of friction, Hyper Rounds are sticking to each other and the plastic of the Hopper in blasters, causing the to clump, using Rival Foam will negeate that, it will also make the Rounds lighter making them easier to Agitate. This awesome Hyper series blaster shoots Hyper Rounds, which are very similar to NERF’s Rival Rounds, but smaller and made of soft rubber—making this the hardest-hitting battery-powered motorized Nerf blaster there is! Spinning up the blaster is simple, like most automatic blasters, there is an acceleration button located below the trigger – simply hold the button down and get blasting. It’s been over five years since the Nerf community showed that Rival was perfect for high-capacity, rapid-fire blasters, and the Nemesis and Perses were an excellent start, but Hasbro also recently got trounced when it comes to long-range blasters while still trying to sell us on its proprietary Ultra dart.

Interesting features on the Mach include a flip-up sight on top, and a trigger safety on the left side. If you're hunting down the most powerful Nerf gun, you'll want to keep an eye out for motorized blasters. Nerf Hyper : Because they're pellets rather than darts, these won't work in anything that isn't a Hyper blaster.Firstly, because it is hopper-fed, you do need to occasionally rattle the gun to help un-clump and feed rounds. I have to admit he’s got a point: the first Rival blasters showed off serious potential, but their tiny magazines and terrible ergonomics were vastly improved just a couple years later. There are no sling points on the Rush but due to it’s small size and relative lightweight you won’t be needing them. With the Rush-40 pistol and Mach-100 SMG in particular, their shots almost immediately curve right down to the ground, forcing you to aim much higher than your target and rain balls down. Competitive players should look no further than the Mach 100 if they want to gain an edge over their opponents.
