About this deal

Overall Viability? Worth it. Call spells and hit their Invocations before they even get to play them. I hope you will enjoy trolling your opponents by not letting them play, using "not so meta" cards ;D !!!

Overall Viability? Probably not, these aren’t the combo pieces you want to hit. Plus, they run too few copies of these cards so it’s not really worth it. vs Mirror Match. Pfft, what doesn’t it hit? You get to destroy main combo pieces like Lilith, Ahrima, Armageddon Knight, and Tour Guide, but hitting Steam the Cloak unfortunately sets it up. If you activate this card, you cannot Summon other monsters this turn. Special Summon 2 "Doomsday Tokens" (Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) in Defense Position. These tokens cannot be Tributed for a Tribute Summon, unless it is for a DARK monster. During your Draw Phase, if you draw a DARK monster(s): You can reveal any number of them; send them to the GY, then you can draw 1 more card. Once per turn: You can make this card's ATK become double its original ATK until the end of this turn. Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this effect was activated: Destroy this card.

Contents

Pretty much all of your monsters are 3000 or less to fulfill the requirements, although you would probably want to tribute a monster with 2000 or more ATK to get its second lingering effect. In that case, you can tribute SS’d Lilith, Darkest Diabolos, or an unnaturally beefy Duke Shade TRAPS: Monarchs Erupt, True Draco Apocalypse, True King’s Return, lots of General Traps, Rivalry of Warlords This card cannot be Special Summoned. While this card is on the field, neither player can Special Summon monsters.

SPELLS: Cosmic Cyclone, Pot of Desires, Raigeki, Scapegoat, Terraforming, Dark Hole, Pot of Duality, Called by the Grave, MST, Forbidden Chalice, Monster Reborn, You can Tribute any number of DARK monsters; Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, it gains 500 ATK for each monster you Tributed. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can target 1 Level 5 or higher DARK monster in your GY; add it to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Duke Shade, the Sinister Shadow Lord" once per turn. You cannot Special Summon monsters the turn you activate either of this card's effects, except DARK monsters. Overall Viability? Definitely worth it. Although you can call either or, I’d recommend calling Spells because you hit all of their enablers and, by extension, won’t really be able to use their traps. Wisdom-Eye, Harmonizing Magician, Purple Poison, Dragonpit, Pendulum Sorcerer, Stargazer, Timegazer, Gate Infinity, Gate Zero, However, the upside of this card is that it can be used with {{Fang of Critias}} to summon {{Doom Virus Dragon}} which actually has the original CCV effect! I really want a Critias build where you can Turn 1 Doom Virus your opponent into oblivion. Wouldn’t that be lovely…TRAPS: Solemn Strike, Solemn Warning, Solemn Judgment, Torrential Tribute, Heavy Storm Duster, Dimensional Barrier, Evenly Matched, Skill Drain You can Normal Summon this card without Tributing. Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card was Summoned this way: Destroy this card, and if you do, take 1000 damage.

Overall Viability? Definitely not. Many of these cards actually benefit from their destruction/being sent.Any Battle Damage your opponent takes from battles involving this card becomes 0. Once per turn: You can target 1 Effect Monster in your Graveyard; banish that target, then, until the End Phase, this card's name and ATK become that monster's name and ATK, and it gains that monster's effects. You must control this face-up card to activate and to resolve this effect. Overall Viability? Definitely worth it. Call spells, but I’m not sure if you’d want to wait for them to have their scales set up. Overall Viability? Not sure yet, I have yet to test it. I’m not sure how much they rely on their monsters for FFV to be a viable counter. Overall Viability? Definitely worth it. You could call either Spells or Traps and be good. However, it seems like they get the most benefit from spells so you might want to call those. Unless you have a huge grudge against Reincarnation like I do haha vs Mirror Match: This card is quite sub-par in this setting. Although we hit Steam the Cloak, Duke Shade, Armageddon Knight, Tour Guide, Scarm, Destrudo, and the tokens, we don’t hit key combo pieces like Lilith or Ahrima.
