About this deal

Culturess: Without giving away any details about Final Offer, I will say that it’s unlike the previous two installments in the series. Did you always know that was how Cal’s story was going to be? The first in the Dreamland Billionaires Series. I actually read this second and the second one first, so please note you can read them as standalones.

As for the couple, it is so easy to love them. They are both hurt from their past and can’t let it go, but at the same, they can't stay away from each other. Even while they’re trying to shut down their feelings for each other and to put some distance between them, fearing for the worst, it’s impossible not to hope for them to get together—not when their chemistry and interactions always feel so light and natural. Their fears—mostly hers—and hesitations are totally comprehensible and fair—which led to some painful scenes, but also made it delightful to see the way they both worked hard and put effort in making things right this time.

Culturess: Your upcoming release is Final Offer which is book 3 in your Dreamland Billionaires series so I have to ask are you a Disney fan and if so, what inspired you to write a series centered around a similar establishment? It always feels hard and bittersweet to say goodbye to a series I've been in love with for so long, but, at least, it was in the best way possible. Cal and Alana’s story has my heart and it is by far my favorite in the Dreamland Billionaires series.

Cal wants to be out of the town where he could have had the love of his life and being so close to Lana and Cami in the guess house is his own personal form of torture of having what could have been so close but out of reach. And, as Brady Kane would have had it, the house is filled with asbestos causing Lana and Kami to have to live in the guess house with Cal. Cami is beyond thrilled as she and Cal have become best friends over the weeks while Lana is hesitant to be so close to Cal as he is already starting to wear down the walls around her heart.

An active member of the literary community, she has a strong presence online, with a loyal following of readers from around the world. This following continues to grow with each passing day, allowing her to become the writer she’s always wanted to be. Maintaining a public profile both offline and on, she continues to regularly write on a consistent basis, with more to follow. Cal decides that it is finally time to get sober for himself and that he owes himself the changes that could come along with it. And, he decides that he would spend every last second of a sober life proving to Lana that he is the man that could give her and Cami a life filled with love. Several comments about this book. Firstly like all Asher's books, it is well written with a lot of detail and of course with much fun, humour and deathly romantic. I enjoy the Dreamland series and this one doesn't disappoint.

Always looking out for exciting new ideas to help inspire her next novel, she’s always taking inspiration from the world around her. Visiting numerous different restaurants in her spare time, she’s got an active imagination when it comes to creating different novels. Still writing to this day, she’s got a busy schedule with more books and series planned for release in the near future. Final Offer by Lauren Asher is the much anticipated third and final book in the Dreamland Billionaires series. We’ve already read Rowan and Declan’s story in The Fine Print and Terms & Conditions, now it’s time for Cal’s. Culturess: Last but certainly not least, I have to ask if you have anything on the horizon. Any new series you’re working on that you can tease us with?I'm the Kane brother everyone gossips about -trust fund brat,washed-up athlete,high-functioning alcoholic... No one knows the real me but her. Lana Castillo - my childhood best friend and the only woman I ever loved, until I broke her heart six years ago. But now, my grandfather's will changes everything. To receive my inheritance, I was tasked with spending a summer at the family lake house before selling it.Turns out Lana doesn't just live at the house, but she claims to own it too. This is everything I hoped it would be. Everything. I loved Cal in Terms and conditions but we never really got this side of him. He’s still funny but turns out his life is a mess and throughout the book you see a lot of character growth from him. Lana is incredibly strong, sometimes a little impulsive but that’s understandable. Even the addition of a cute child and an overbearing town could not save Final Offer from itself. It is beautifully written, but the plot fell short for me.

Cal’s personality is that he’s an addict with money, and the other characters’ personalities revolve around whether they have money or not. I struggled to remember the previous two books while reading this one, which suggests they are easily forgettable. However, I do recall being excited to read Cal’s book. Now on to Lana... Omg, where do I even start with her. Certain parts of the book I really enjoyed Lana and love her personality, but at some moments and chapters I couldn't get with her and it also made me not want to finish the book. I get that Lana has trust issues and she doesn't want to trust Cal or let him in; even when he's trying his hardest to be the best and to be sober for her too. It gets to a point where you have to stop and think it through. Like when she eavesdropping (she doesn't mean to do it intentionally, it just happens) and she finds out about inheritance and the will. She shuts Cal all the way out and puts up this guard. Now I understand her reason for being mad and upset, but at the same time to understand what's going on you have to talk with your SO and understand why they're doing what they did. At times it made me feel like Lana doesn't want to trust Cal and she doesn't care for him like that. But towards the end of the book she finally let her guard down and let Cal in. An author of romance novels, Lauren Asher is well-regarded for writing emotional and engaging stories that really draw the reader in. Filling her books with angst and steam, she immerses her audience in her richly interwoven worlds that instantly grab the reader. Imaginative and compelling on every level, she perfectly understands her audience, knowing just where she wants to take them. This approach of hers has seen her become enormously successful worldwide, reaching a variety of different readers both nationally and internationally.Their story is also about forgiveness, trust and healing. It is full of angsty, but also beautiful moments. In general, the characters' pains, fears and feelings made them relatable, and their journeys and development were amazing and very well worked. Besides, I love how Cal made it clear that he wanted to get better not only for Lana and Cami, but for himself—for him to be the man he knows he can be, a man that deserves them. It showed how much he'd grown and it is the best development his character could've had! And Lana, as Cal calls her, is one of the strongest characters Lauren has written till the date. She’s an incredible woman, who’s so selfless, caring and loving, and that has been through a lot throughout her life. She’s an amazing person, who's willing to sacrifice herself to see the people she loves happy, especially when it comes to her daughter, Cami—who honestly, is a highlight and the star of the book. The mother-daughter relationship between them and how much they care for each other is beautiful.
