By piping the peanut butter or jelly using a pastry bag or plastic bag with the end cut off, you can easily apply the peanut butter and jelly after cutting the bread. Use a different nut butter. You don't HAVE to use peanut butter. Swap it out for different nut butter or a healthier peanut butter blend, depending on your preference. Chocolate chips- You won't need much, but a few chocolate chips will make fun spider eyes. Raisins or sprinkles could be used if you don't have chocolate chips handy.I do have to complain that when the rhyming sequence is dropped, it is a little jaring, and I am not sure about the last addition/the conclusion.

It's simple, easy, and adorable!They're so easy to make and only use about an extra minute or two compared to a normal PB&J, so they're totally worth it for the "wow factor." The seafront is (still) just around the corner, and I find a bracing walk (it gets freezing when the East wind blows from the North Sea!) or gentle stroll when the weather is warmer, is great for clearing my head and mulling over story ideas. However, as I mentioned there really isn't all that many words in the book and it does read a bit like a list. I do prefer a good story and this one just doesn't compare to the many great children's books out there. To keep this a healthier meal for the kiddos, you can always serve up your Halloween spider sandwiches with some delicious: Use different jellies or even homemade jams like my Sugar Free Strawberry Jam or Sugar Free Blueberry Jam for a different flavor experience every time.
