About this deal

I do think from what you all say that it’s worth trying yumove or similar, along with the Gabapentin. A friend has a sharpei with lots of joint problems and found a tin of sardines a week works wonders. Not something I dare try with Heidi’s constitution With rimadyl on top of the jointsure, that is great if i need him to lie still over an extended time to give a very thorough grooming. He has an appointment booked for his jabs in April when I was hoping I could go in with him but that’s too far away and I’ll run out of Gabapentin in a week. I havent used yumove but Woody has been on Jointsure in the past we've just moved To Petlab because I wanted something with Tumeric in rather than buying separate. I don't know if they make a difference as I use as a preventive. We also use Dorwest herbs codliver oil tablets.

JOINTSURE - Vetwell Scientific

My limited understanding is that yumove and the like work best before any issues become apparent to protect the joints but not sure if that's true or not.Vet agreed it was worth trying him off the meds to see but I think it's going to be ongoing so obviously want him comfortable. Hydro/massage might help but he's so sensitive I think it would upset him more than benefit him tbh. I didn’t think it could be the Gabapentin so soon but apparently it can after just an hour or two - he’s had 3 doses now since yesterday morning. Partly because these meds long term can cause their own serious issues but also because he had started with sloppy poos which are a known side effect especially of the Loxicom vet had said to try without a while. Different dogs react differently to individual supplements so one person may see an effect and another nothing.

My mum's fox terrier (low grade luxating patella) and mum-in-law's schnauzer (TPLO) both use Yumove and it definitely seems to make a difference to their comfort. They'll both be 10 this year She’s always been noise sensitive but more-so lately. I head that as some senses fail, others become heightened? No apparent decline joint wise but something to consider..... Heidi’s been on Jointsure (initially Yumove) since a soft tissue injury when she was 8. (Took months of slowly, slowly to resolve) Without it I notice a difference. With it, she’s full of beans. Does anyone give this to their dog and do you think it’s made a difference to mobility and/or pain and discomfort? Does anyone give this to their dog and do you think it's made a difference to mobility and/or pain and discomfort?Frodo is 8 this year, and he gets stiff and tight in his muscles (even after warm ups and cool downs) after sleeping off big runs, so I have him on GWF Nutrition Joint Aid. Its little tiny pellets rather than tablets and he seems happier eating it, definitely notice a difference in him compared to not using it. So i always try to keep him dosed with jointsure the full year round and he has rimadyl on top of that when the damp weather gets to him or he has overdone it on exercise.
