About this deal

EVERUN is the newest Saucony technology and it’s slowly but surely being incorporated in all new premium Saucony running shoes.

The PWRRUN PB stands at the help of the series. It is considerably lighter than the PWRRUN+ (by 40%) and embodies an elite-level of energy return and durability. “PB” stands for Pebax, a material that’s used in the high-end race shoes like Nike Alphafly and Vaporfly. This foam is currently only employed by Saucony Endorphin Pro racer. SPEEDROLL Again, the shoe’s cushion stiffness remains an issue for runners who prioritize softness. And wearing a shoe that’s harsh on your feet will be a dealbreaker for some regardless of how smooth the ride is.You’ll need something more rugged to go off the beaten path and explore the forests and mountains. Here is an overview of the brand’s dedicated trail shoes. They were great. No complaints, and felt like they were already broken in and ready to go. Saucony Axon Sole Unit The Saucony Axon 2 emerges as more than an upgrade over its previous shoe; it stands out as a high-quality product that can rival more expensive trainers in several essential ways at a much lower price.

The Saucony Peregrine 13, true to its namesake (the Peregrine falcon), is a nimble and agile trail running shoe. It has extraordinary traction and a great fit. A more than capable all-rounder, it is definitely the best Saucony trail shoe. The Axon 2 takes runners a couple of long runs to break in and get comfortable with, like any running shoes. However, these shoes still give runners a firmer ride than other, far more expensive shoes, even after breaking them in. The Saucony Triumph 20 is an awesome-fitting daily trainer with great cushioning from top to bottom. We loved running in these shoes almost daily, and the lab tests confirmed that this is indeed the best daily trainer among the Saucony squad. Additionally, the shoe has a curved forefoot design and firm cushion, so both forefoot strikers and heel strikers can roll forward smoothly with this trainer. Neutral shoes are meant for runners with normal pronation (no excessive inward or outward rolling of the foot), while stability shoes have supportive components to prevent overpronation.

What You Need To Know

In the end, the Axon is a great investment and a great budget shoe. I’ll happily recommend it to many of my friends who run, especially if they don’t live in wet locations. The Peregrine 13’s outsole is a beast. It provides incredible traction—thanks to its almost full-coverage outsole complemented with 4.8 mm lugs that are patterned to shed mud. Snow, mud, dirt, and gravel—the Peregrine 13 breezed through. Performance: B+ ( A very fun shoe to run. The shoe makes you want to run fast but does seem to bottom out when the pace is pushed. If you keep it easy and controlled the ride is really smooth and hard to beat) On top of a form-fitting design, the new Axon’s robust rubber outsole gives it unrivaled durability and traction in damp environments. So you can use the Axon on your long runs without wear and tear. And most of all, the upper improvements contribute to the smooth ride.

When I put them on, I loved the cushion but was surprised about the balance from the heel to the toe. Thanks to the unique outsole design, the Saucony Axon 2 stays in perfect condition longer than its original Axon and Endorphin Shift shoe line. Saucony designed the Axon 2’s outsole with a firm rubber to keep the shoe intact. And while that outsole rigidity might limit the Axon 2’s flex, it allows the shoe to remain strong for many years and miles. However, there is something about the compound that lets you down on wet concrete/asphalt. I have run now 5 times on wet surfaces, and have felt the shoe slip each time.

Over the years, the brand has developed a wide range of running shoe categories for any type of run: easy, fast, race, trail, mud, etc. The sections below will help you make an informed decision on which models match your needs. Saucony running shoes This is no doubt the question that we hear the most often when people are looking for new running shoes. Unfortunately, the question cannot be answered that simply, seeing as the choice of running shoe for each person is a very individual choice. The best running shoe for me is not necessarily the best running shoe for you. Therefore, it is impossible to compile a list of this year's best running shoes, which all runners agree on. But still, we've made an attempt and present in this article our suggestions for the running shoes available at runningXpert.com, which deserve a place on the list of "The Best Running Shoes of 2022". I also found the stitching around the tongue to be a little harsh. Outside of some rubbing, though, it didn’t cause any real issues. Shop Saucony Axon Saucony Axon 2 Conclusion Kinvara and Freedom are on the firmer, more minimal side. Ride is more cushioned. Triumph is the softest, max-cushioned option. Saucony Kinvara

Some of the road running shoes are also released in trail versions (see shoes with “TR” in the name). They are meant to bring the familiar experience of your favorite road shoes to the trail, but with added grip and protection. Let’s talk tech: Special features in Saucony shoes In our lab, we weighed the Kinvara 14 to be 194 g (6.84 oz)—that’s an epic 74g (2.61 oz) of weight difference against the average weight of road running shoes at 268g (9.45 oz). It is a premium lineup that includes three models for different purposes, from easy runs to setting personal bests. Equipped with the latest technologies from Saucony, these are meant to minimize energy loss and maximize your running performance. On the initial run in them, I went for a 7-mile run with 3 miles at 5k tempo. It was not the “scheduled” run, but I wanted to see what would happen with some tempo and distance.
