About this deal

The problem is in my opinion that making too much of a thing of the brush movements may mean users are looking for the fastest and most powerful all the time, thinking this is better, when really it is not all that important. Oral B Pro 2 2500 N is an advanced electric toothbrush. It comes with a lithium-ion battery which lasts for 2 weeks. The round brush contours to every teeth and gums for fresh oral health. The Oral B Pro 2 2500 N provides cleaner and whiter teeth with gum protection within a short span of 2 minutes. It allows you to brush for the maximum time as recommended by dentists. The Smart 6’s brush head holder is a moulded piece of plastic that clips around the charging stand and offers up 2 prongs. The brush heads then sit on these. It keeps them upright and they do not touch, but they are not covered like they are with the compartment with the 9000, which can accommodate up to 4 brush heads. The toothbrush set consists of an electric toothbrush handle, a cross-action toothbrush head, and a UK pin charger. It has polishing cups to hold the toothpaste and gently whiten your teeth.

It also reminds you when to give a pause to your brushing session. Power lasts for 2 weeks after charging for a single time. So, you need not worry about charging it always. The next big difference is the battery life. The Pro 2 2000 has over twice the usage time. The Pro 600 will operate for 28 minutes, which is 7 days of cleaning based on one user. However the Pro 2 will last for 66 minutes which is 16 days of usage time. Interestingly, despite the similar design, the Smart 6 is actually part of a range of brushes that includes the Smart 4 and 5 that sit below the Genius range. The Pro 2 2500 is technically the expensive option, but most of the time it is cheaper or there is little in the way of real price difference.Your brushing time, frequency and technique will have a bigger impact than the number of movements alone. Unlike the Pro 2 2000, it does not have a large rubber grip that runs down the middle of the brush handle. Whilst this does make the Pro 1000 a little easier to wipe and keep clean, it does mean the Pro 2 feels a little more secure in the hand. Smaller and less unsightly, it is designed to sit on a worktop rather than adhere to a wall or mirror. You just need to pop your phone in it, which takes a couple of seconds compared to the tens of seconds with the Genius brush configuration. You phone then sits in portrait or landscape orientation and shows the on-screen timer. The whitening of the teeth and using an electric toothbrush for that is complicated. There are many different scenarios and lifestyle conditions to consider.

All three toothbrushes provide you with a charging station. The Oral-B Pro 3000 is a little more fancy because it allows you to hold two brush spare brush heads upright next to it. This is pretty handy if you are sharing the electric toothbrush holder. The N at the end stands for Normal as it comes with the “standard” CrossAction Brush head. There is also a W variety which is Whitening and S which is Sensitive. The letter just represents the Brush Head that it comes with, the electric toothbrush handles are exactly the same. Should I go for the Oral-B Pro 2 2500 or Oral-B Pro 650 electric toothbrush? Perhaps long term the benefits and effects of the more powerful motor are noticeable, so for peace of mind, there is an appeal to opt for the Pro 2 2000.The Oral-B Pro 2 2500 comes with a limited number of cleaning modes: daily clean and gum care. Although daily clean will be used the most, it is always nice to have a sensitive cleaning mode, which reduces the power of the oscillations for people with sensitive teeth. Another useful feature that it is missing is a tongue cleaning mode. 2) Mechanism of Action All system components (e.g., toothbrush handle, charger, power cord, SmartGuide). You do not need to include accessories like the brush heads or refill stand. The Oral B Pro 2 2500 N stands out from the rest owing to its easy usage and maintenance. It creates a short shuttering sound after 30 seconds to remind you to brush another quadrant of your mouth.

Place these brushes side by side and it is almost impossible to tell the difference between each of them. In most instances just using an electric brush, twice a day, for 2 minutes each time, with the correct technique and a good toothpaste, your teeth may get whiter.Aside from the colour of the brush the physical size and shape are identical and you would not be able to tell the two apart unless you noticed the additional cleaning mode icon found on the 9000.

A big improvement, it means you can go between charges for longer and works better for those who travel and are away from power. On the rear of the Pro 2 2000 brush handle, just below where the brush head attaches, is a red plastic panel. This is the visible pressure sensor. More details on this shortly, but know that the 1000 does not have it. A new magnetic charger means the brush can be recharged in as little as 3 hours, rather than the more typical 12. All three of the electric toothbrushes are mid range electric toothbrushes built by Oral-B. They all provide different advantages and disadvantages but which one provides you with the best features, best value for money and best portability. Find out in the detailed review below. 1) Features: Oral-B Pro 2000 vs 3000 vs 2500

1) Features: Oral-B Pro 2000 vs 3000 vs 2500

The differences between the brush heads are explained in our ultimate Oral-B brush head guide, if you would like to know more. You have a dedicated cleaning mode button too. Press this to change cleaning modes on the 9000. With the 5000 you have to press the power button multiple times. Despite both brushes coming with multiple brush heads, the travel cases provided with each brush are capable of holding the brush handle and 2 heads only.
