About this deal

The Beatles: Get Back will be released on a Blu-Ray Collector’s Set and DVD this summer, it has been announced today (May 17). The audio from the concert was also released as an audio album in January 2022 and the album captures the entire rooftop concert and is available to listen to on streaming sites. The album hit the Number 1 spot on the UK Charts, topping the Record Retailer's LP Chart for 30 weeks - an extraordinary achievement for a pop album during this time.

Owen Gleiberman, writing for Variety, said that while the story "meanders" and gets "bloated" in Part Three, it is an "addictive" portrait of a "transcendent" band that goes above "both the hype and fan anxiety". Review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes reported an approval rating of 93% based on 119 reviews, with an average rating of 8. The album was thought to be inspired by Brian Wilson's 'Pet Sounds', which was thought to be initially inspired by the Beatles' own 'Rubber Soul'. However, the last statement is opposed by Andy Welch of The Guardian in his review of the documentary, who remarks: "Yoko didn't break up the Beatles.

Both the DVD and Blu-ray presentations offer the three-part, 468-minute Get Back on three discs - one part per disc. The Beatles: Get Back is a three-episode musical documentary series that heavily focuses on the British classic rock group The Beatles. Similar to his first album, the tracks consisted of him performing all of the instrumental parts, whilst his wife Linda co-wrote as well as contributing additional vocals. Wings' first official album as a group was 'Wild Life' in 1971, with the band releasing a total of seven albums.

The DVD release was a disappointment for fans expecting an expanded edition with extra footage not use in the Disney+ stream. A one-minute clip of the film was released on YouTube on 12 November, containing a scene with the Beatles working on the song " I've Got a Feeling". The Beatles: Get Back' Doc Set for Release on Blu-Ray and DVD This Summer — This Time It's for Real".This new three part series – edited from his 150 hours of audio and 60 hours of film – runs at nearly eight hours and is pitched as a long-overdue corrective to that impression.
