About this deal

I like 𝐴𝑙𝑖𝑧𝑒ℎ. In the first book, I didn't feel so much for her but in this book her character development was great. She can be a badass but she is soft-hearted too. I want to know about her in the next book. She is a very interesting character. The fact that she didn't know how to eat bread killed me but I understand why she didn't know it. And it breaks my heart.

AND THE ROMANCE. IT HAD ME BLUSHING, STUTTERING, HYPERVENTILATING. WHO'S KAMRAN?? ALL IK IS CYRUS, MY POOR BEAN, MY SLIGHTLY BURNT CINNAMON ROLL, MY COOKIE DOUGH PRINCESS. I LOVELOVELOVE HIM. ALIZEH AND HIM ARE JUST JAW-DROPPINGLY AMAZING I WANT TO COME TO THEIR WEDDING. I SWEAR, IF THIS TURNS OUT TO BE ONE OF THOSE STAR-CROSSED ROMANCES I'M GOING TO UGLY CRY, AND TRUST ME, YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE THAT. An] illustrious tale of magic, court intrigue, and romance. Captivating readers from the very first chapter... A magnetic series opener that will delight fans of Mafi’s previous series." — Booklist Drawn from Persian mythology and Islamic texts, this epic fantasy is brilliantly structured to maximize readers’ emotional buy-in. Eloquent prose brings vivid immediacy to each scene. Although Alizeh and Kamran are only together a handful of times, Mafi gives full due to their steamy, forbidden attraction. [The] ending ensures a breathlessly awaited sequel." — Bulletin of the Center for Children’s Books After reading This Woven Kingdom, I felt a little worried about this sequel but was willing to give it a chance because I love Alizeh’s character (and because I already owned the book). I’m pleasantly surprised that These Infinite Threads was better than expected even though I have a couple of issues with it.i still don't love the writing style being so drawn out and overly complicated. it was never difficult to read (whereas book one i think it slightly was) but this book uses such big words and drawn-out turns of phrase to describe really simple things. i felt it worked in some places but really flopped in others. Alizeh wants nothing to do with Cyrus’s deal or the devil. But without a way to escape Tulan, and with the fulfillment of her own destiny tantalizingly close, she’ll have to decide whether she can set aside her emotions to become the queen her people need.

This book was what I needed. No honestly after reading the first book I thought this one would be disappointing too but guys this book was ᴇᴠᴇʀʏᴛʜɪɴɢ ( ͡❛ ₃ ͡❛). Idk how Tahereh Mafi does it but there is some sort of drug in the way she writes and creates books. Istg this book… I‘m completely and utterly in love and I know that it‘s only going to get better from here on out! the plot. i was complaining to my friend earlier today about this book and when she asked me what even is the plot of the book i fr couldnt answer. alizeh becoming the queen of jinn? yeah maybe. alizeh & co fighting the devil? can be. there are little pieces here and there but there is no one big, interesting plot that would make this whole book worth reading. idk maybe the author wanted to focus on romance rather than the plot but if that’s the case then… i have already made my opinion on the romance aspect known lol. Mafi introduces some potent issues around whether passive resistance or confrontation is the better community strategy, and scenes of anti-Muslim aggression are brief but impactful." — Bulletin of the Center for Children’s Books

The This Woven Kingdomsequelcontinues to bring to life one of the most magical and eye-opening fantasy stories through exciting love triangles and high stakes that only Mafi can make." — Cosmopolitan Kamran’s grandfather lays dead at the hand of Cyrus, ruler of the neighboring kingdom of Tulan. Cyrus has stolen Alizeh away to his homeland and plans to marry her there, giving her everything she needs to become the Jinn queen—and when she assumes the throne he will have fulfilled his own bargain with the devil. is a good character but when we have Cyrus who would look at him? No, I like him but in my opinion, he should not be the end game. He's unimpressed. He has no chemistry with Alizeh. He could be her best friend. He is an interesting character but not as much as Cyrus.
