Hecate could have been here a bit more just as Hermes and Apollo just because I felt like they weren't there as often as I expected it to be. A Touch of Malice” is a perfect novel for those who love to read the mind-blowing, engaging, thrilling and superb fiction novel of all times.

This book was full of smaller story lines, and introduced a few moving pieces which will surely climax (no pun intended) in the final instalment of this series. this is a case where it actually could have been much better, and that there was potential in the plot and characters that ultimately went to waste. The Destiny 2 redux of King’s Fall is excellent, and adds some great twists to an already great raid. As you might already know, A Touch of Ruin, the second book in this series, ended on a serious cliffhanger: just as Hades proposes marriage to Persephone, Demeter screws with the weather, making it start to snow, bringing about the promise of war.

I finish every series I start so I will read but I won’t be anticipating the next addition to this Hades x Persephone retelling. She beats the absolute shit out of Harmonia (Aphrodite's sister) and steals her horns and just glosses over it. The premise sounds so interesting and it sounds like there will be a ton of interaction with all the Gods, which is my favorite! Touch of Malice is part of the King’s Fall loot table and can only be acquired by defeating the final boss, Oryx.

This book and its characters are becoming increasingly comparable to a pot of vegetable broth that you accidentally poured too much water into. Meanwhile, in the second book, he started to withdraw a bit from the plot as more emphasis was placed on Persephone's growth (but also because the two were constantly at odds with each other). The character driven style of this book really resonated with me, and I think that may be why I liked it so much. Sometime later, in the story, Persephone experiences a PTSD trigger during a specific scene in the book. After speaking with her, however, Hypnos only comes to the conclusion that Persephone needs to confront her experience if she wishes for the nightmares to go away.We see her having meetings, getting her new office, reviewing Helen’s article in the first part of the book. They are just waiting and hoping that she will make a mistake so that they can swoop in and take her to the greenhouse prison. Persephone had used her powers to make sure that Hades wouldn't be able to follow her and break the bargain. Persephone and Hecate then work together to save Sybil and Harmonia, and Persephone begins to fight with her mother, who she ends up killing.

Now, do I appreciate the semblance of spice this chapter brought to one of the blandest books I've ever read? Touch of Malice was updated to remove the Blessing of Light buff when the Touch of Malice perk is active. Don’t get me wrong, I love my smut spicy love scenes, but I’m telling you when it’s literally every other page. Her most famous novels are A Touch of Darkness, A Touch of Ruin, A Game of Fate and When Stars Come Out.Thus, using the double damage perk of the final round coupled with the Aura allow for massive damage to be dealt. Clair went to the University of Oklahoma, where she graduated with an undergraduate degree in English Writing. When the Olympians intervene, Persephone finds her future in the hands of ancient gods, and they are divided. Hades and Persephone have made their relationship public even though no one knows that Persephone is not a mortal. Nothing makes any of the characters unique from one another, and they've lost many of the character traits that were being developed in them since the first book.

Clair is the third book in her Hades and Persephone series, and is written from the POV of Persephone. I was expecting that this book would at least answer some of the questions that ending brought about, and maybe even bring the plot forward some, properly introducing us to some of the other Greek gods and goddesses, paving the way for a proper conflict. During the final fight against Oryx, many strategies have the player stand in the an Aura of Immortality to deal damage to Oryx.The perk "Charged with Blight" is a pun on the "Charged with Light" mechanic introduced in Season of Dawn. Someone's throwing swords at someone else, Persephone is growing vines over people, buildings are being destroyed, and the writing isn't exactly detailed. She started to think about what the world would be like if the gods in Greek mythology were real beings that came down to Earth. When the Olympians get involved, and the fate of Persephone and Hades marriage is in their hands, they are divided.
