About this deal

It does it frequently, but not all the time. So when I get it? I know with 100% confidence the distance is correct. Additionally, the accuracy is within 1/2 a yard over up to 300 yards, ensuring you’re getting reliable measurements every time. The acquisition time can range from as little as 0.25 seconds up to three seconds depending on your target distance and settings. Finally, if you want to talk about Peace of Mind, their Lifetime warranty is one of the best I have seen. It reads: “Should any Cobalt rangefinder become damaged or defective such that it can’t be used, we will repair or replace it at no charge to you. No compromises here. The intuitive display makes it extremely easy to identify the slope so that you can adjust for it with your club selection. Adaptive Contrast Display

Cobalt Q-6 Golf Laser Rangefinder Blue/Black (Slope/Non-Slope) Cobalt Q-6 Golf Laser Rangefinder Blue/Black (Slope/Non-Slope)

Cobalt Golf is a newer brand with over twenty-five years in the rangefinder business amongst its team. With extensive experience around creating and marketing premium rangefinders, Cobalt Golf was established as a direct-to-consumer brand offering the very best technology and quality at a better price point. The new Cobalt Q-4 rangefinder offers a fully loaded device at a more affordable price point to appeal to more golfers whether serious or casual. The Q-6 Slope also features a scan mode that allows golfers to acquire multiple yardages by holding down the power button and moving from one target to another. This type of technology is readily available in other laser rangefinders as well, but I’ve never tested one that was as effective in that regard as the Q-6 Slope.STZ 230 9.5* "Std" setting STZ 230 Hybrid 18* "lower" setting Pro Fli-Hi 21.5* PTxPro 5 - PW Equalizer II 50* / 54* Maltby MAX Milled 58* L.A.B. Directed Force 2.1 There is nothing that makes me happier than a new unit stepping up and letting you know that your other units are not as good as you thought they were. Validation! Now it’s not inexpensive by any means but it is in line with other high-end units and its quality is top notch. The crystal-clear optics sets this unit above others I have or have tried. There are a handful of useful features in the Cobalt Q-4 rangefinder. First, there’s a slope feature that’s easily engaged by a press of the button on the side. Slope being on will be indicated via a bright red light. For those that don’t know what slope is, it’s the distance to your target adjusted for elevation. Most tournaments will NOT allow slope to be used, so that’s why the red light indicator is key. There’s some very stout competition from other golf rangefinders in this list, and most of them cost significantly less. I think Bushnell Tour Z6 is one of the best golf range finders… what’s more is that the Bushnell Z6 is among the first golf laser rangefinders from Bushnell to feature the Vivid Display Technology. Its most amazing feature is the fact that it can be used under any lighting condition. It also allows you to adjust the brightness levels of its display. That means you dont have to worry when natural light is not as bright you would want it

rangefinder lives up to the hype I Tried It: This sleek rangefinder lives up to the hype

How do you like the Cobalt? I was eyeing up Nikon but after diving into the Cobalt I realized I'm quite familiar with their parent company and it may be the better choice for me despite the price. Designed to cater to every golfer’s needs, the device is equipped with adjustable focus, waterproof housing (IPX7), and a sturdy magnesium chassis encased in aluminum. The Nikon COOLSHOT PROII STABILIZED has both extremely accurate slope distances and an advanced optical stabilization system to reduce vibration (up to 80%). Includes an OLED display, IPX4 waterproof, and incredible Nikon optics! When first looking at it, there’s also one other prominent feature that’s impossible to ignore: the dial on the side of the device. After just a couple rounds with the Cobalt Q-6 in my arsenal, I can confidently say that the product met all my expectations — and then some. Impressive optics and display: The premium optics and Brilliant Projection Display make it easy to read measurements even in low light conditions. Epic Max LS 10.5 - Motore X F3 6X | Speedzone 5-wood - Ventus Blue 8S | TSi3 20* Hybrid - KBS Proto 85S One thing I will point out is that the display is very much on the small side so it’s pretty crucial that you get the “diopter focus” dialed in. I found that if it’s not perfect for your eye, reading output can be pretty difficult. I am pretty much a self-taught golfer and have been playing for over thirty years. I took some group lessons when I first started playing. After that I just figured things out myself with some help from golf magazines and videos. My biggest improvements in my game came from installing my simulator in conjunction with a MEVO several years ago. I got to see my swing path and ball flight info. I do get to play a decent amount of golf. Once or twice a week at my club, playing with customers, as well as golf outings for charities. I am able to play year-round.
