This speaker doesn't have much power behind it, but it sounds pretty good at medium volumes and is a vast improvement on your phone's speakers without adding much weight to your pack. I've tested different genres and artists including Billy Joel, BIGBANG, Tame Impala, ZHU, Royal Blood, Eminem, ABBA, The Presets, ndls404, and Disclosure and they all sound great.
