About this deal

Dreams and Fairy Tales: The Theme of Rationality in 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' and 'The Sandman' ".

In this second SANDMAN OMNIBUS, Delirium prevails upon the Sandman to help her find their errant brother, Destruction. The reason given is: Recast speculation in future tense with concrete statements about what it ultimately was. Goyer announced in an interview in early December that he would be producing an adaptation of the graphic novel, alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Neil Gaiman. Unlike modern team books, frequently the model of this anthology series was to present a brief team meeting or adventure followed by the simultaneous solo adventures of the various team members. The Little Endless Storybook, written and lovingly illustrated by Jill Thompson in the style of a young children's picture book, told the story of the Endless' Delirium and her dog, Barnabas.Early printings were published by Vertigo Comics, but later ones are under DC Black Label after Vertigo was sunsetted. Off the back of the popularity of Gaiman’s comic series, Vertigo started publishing Sandman Mystery Theatre. Originally published 25 years after The Sandman first changed the landscape of modern comics, The Sandman: Overture brought back Neil Gaiman’s legendary series with a never-before-told tale featuring Morpheus!

Regardless of cultures or historical eras, all dreamers visit Morpheus’ realm–be they gods, demons, muses, mythical creatures or simply humans who teach Morpheus some surprising lessons. Injustice: Gods Among Us is a collection of comic books based on the highly popular Injustice video game. Dave McKean's covers use techniques such as painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, and computer manipulation. As a pre-existing DC character, he is seemingly immune to the unstated Gaiman-Embargo where all of his appearances must be explicitly approved. Critic Marc Buxton described the book as a "masterful tale that created a movement of mature dark fantasy" which was largely unseen in previous fantasy works before it. The Sandman was originally published by DC's Vertigo imprint, and afterward DC's Black Label, and originally ran from 1989 to 1996. The contents are the same, DC Comics just folded The Sandman into the Vertigo banner, where it would find its home for a long time.
