The oldest ever recipient of a message from The Queen was a Canadian gentleman, who reached the age of 116 in December 1984. Wedding anniversary messages are not arranged automatically and the Anniversaries Office must receive an application for a card to be sent. Please note that applications are not accepted any sooner than 5 weeks before the anniversary date.
