About this deal

The padded seats recline easily with one hand and are suitable from six months to around age four, with plenty of room to grow. If you want to use this pushchair from birth, the Thule Urban Glide 2 also functions as a travel system as you can attach both a carrycot (must be bought separately) and a baby car seat. The carrycot, while fiddly to fit to the chassis, lies flat and is both deep and roomy, making it a cosy and supportive place for newborns to lay. If you have more than one child, the Urban Glide 2 can also be bought as a double buggy.

The term buggy board officially refers to the Lascal Buggy Board, which was the very first board manufactured to be attached to a buggy. Most pushchair brands offer their own buggy board but you can also choose from a wide range of universal buggy boards designed to fit most types of pram. Before we recommend new products, we always ask our trusted Mumsnet users, a community of around 7 million parents. That’s a lot of honest, impartial advice. Suitable from two-years-old, this buggy board may be just what you are looking for if you have a Baby Jogger pushchair. The board is compatible with Baby Joggers including Baby Jogger City Elite 2, City Mini 2, City Mini GT2, City Mini 2 Double, City Mini GT2 Double, City Tour Lux, City Select, City Select Lux and Summit x 3. Suitable from: Birth (with carrycot) to 25kg in single mode and 15kg in double | Weight: 12.1kg (with one seat) | Folded dimensions: 60 × 28.5 × 70cm | World-facing: Yes | Parent-facing: Yes | Car seat compatible: Yes (with adaptors) | Wheels: Puncture-resistant | Carrycot included? Yes What we like You shouldn’t need any additional tools to attach your buggy board, and Lascal provide arm extenders to suit different pram and pushchair types and sizes. Once it’s attached, you can trim the straps on your pushchair, although this will mean you can’t use it somewhere else, for example if you wanted to switch it to a lightweight stroller in the future. Leaving your straps untrimmed gives you the option to remove it and use it on a different pushchair. What age is the Lascal BuggyBoard suitable for and what weight does it hold? Clever, but perhaps not as essential as it first appears. Most car seats don't have a lie-flat mode, which means newborns can only safely stay in that seat for 30 minutes at a time. So while it's handy to have the option to transfer your baby from car seat to pushchair without waking them up, you may not use this feature very often. A good compact pram is a game-changer when holidaying with babies - how else do you get them and all their stuff to and from the plane without overloading your arms? While the Dragonfly is super comfy for toddlers, with harness straps that slide up and down for ease, saving the need for any rethreading, we think this pushchair performs especially well with newborns. I’ve just passed mine on after six years of use and I think it was definitely worth the money. I had two kids with a two year age gap, so we used the single carrycot, seat, car seat adapter function, bought the Rumble seat as they got older, the works! It was absolutely brilliant, sturdy and easy to use [with a] big basket underneath. Not super light, but it lasted the years well. I’m tall and mainly chose it because the handle went high enough to be comfortable for me" - tried and tested by Mumsnet user, Creakycroaky Our verdict Flexible and oh-so-trendy, the Nuna Mixx Next is comfort and style rolled into one. It’s the third generation in the range, an update on the Nuna Mixx 2019, which features a new, more compact fold and improved suspension for a smoother ride. Lascal has produced a good quality, solid board, with a non-slip surface to help your child travel safely. It can be hooked out of the way when not in use for short periods or you can completely remove it with ease.

The Egg2 baby stroller features flowing lines and all the practical features you would expect from a premium stroller. Suitable from birth up to 25kg, the Egg2 pushchair can be used with a Carrycot or with multi car seat adaptors making it Travel System compatible. Egg also has growing families covered and can accommodate a second child or even twins with a Tandem and Twin modes with numerous combinations of Carrycots, Seats and Car Seats. The frame is sturdy but that means it’s not the lightest of pushchairs, weighing in at 13.7kg, a fair bit heavier than Baby Jogger City Tour 2, so it may not be ideal for using on public transport. It is easy to fold though and can be done when the seat is world- or parent-facing and is freestanding for easy storage. Parents usually opt for the Maxi if they have a larger pram or a double buggy, and the Mini for a smaller stroller. We think the Maxi is easier to navigate over bumps and up and down kerbs, giving a slightly more stable ride, although both are secure for your tot to ride on.
