About this deal

The professionalism of the story maybe gets its own point on the "personal enjoyment of the reader"; what I mean is, for sure, characters are interesting with their many personal stories which create emotions to the reader. much on the insanity of their characters and lose sight of what makes this whole genre so damn interesting in the first place, the tactics with which these characters interact with each other. Amazing character writing, everyone has a connection whether it be a good or bad one, they're written well. The manga's artwork is exceptional, showcasing expressive character designs and finely executed action sequences. The artwork has the power to transform a character, giving them a morbid complexion and stripping away their charm.

Overall, it's really hard to give this story review without spoiling anything, but it's definitely top tier. The use of real mental illness in media and entertainment is a tricky thing to portray and the way DID is portrayed in this particular manga makes me extremely uncomfortable to say the least. One person realizes that the protagonist is struggling with some ghastly mental issue: an aloof young woman who attends the same college.

This is one of those iceberg stories in which the author has plotted carefully every character’s actions and deceptions. The moment that bothered me the most happened early on in the story, but it announced that some more bullshit was coming down the road: at one point the protagonist finds himself in the club that the gang owns. I don't really critique much about the art but I like it, I wish though that U Eiji and H Eiji have a distinct art to them like the fashion choices for example, so that the readers can clue in more who is U Eiji and H Eiji.

Thankfully, the MC isnt your typical horny guy but someone who actually is likeable and enjoyable to read about. This dude will kill your mind, I'm just exaggerating but this thing is hyped from the start you just can't notice it because it's a typical or normal way of introducing the characters.

The art is amazing, the facial expressions, the way they vocalise sound effects and the sense of danger it all captures every emotion you'll feel while watching an action movie or listening to an Opera about an abandoned cat in the rain.

They are complex, well fleshed out and their motivations are well founded, yet they still managed the be cliché characters. The art perfectly synced in the story and you can feel the art giving awesome mood in certain events. The artist's distinctive style adds an additional dimension to the dark and terrifying atmosphere of the story. The art is quite good, the writing is fine, the characters are layered, and the story itself is quite consistent, yet the whole manga felt like a homework. As his life is thrown into a spiral of disarray, he embarks on a journey to resolve the mess of the last three days and get Kyouka to accept his past.Soon enough we find out that she has a personal connection with one of the victims of the serial killer. Not that it has a surprising ending what you cannot easily guess, if you've read a few similar stories. It starts up really quickly it's about Urashima Eiji an ordinary student who went out drinking and then, woke up with a girlfriend and no recollection of what happened. A woman gets murdered in what seems like a copycat case of the serial killer’s modus operandi, and the protagonist finds himself in possession of that woman’s cut-off ear. As for pacing, you never know what's coming next or who did what, and each chapter flows perfectly into one another so you're never bored and you're always left on a cliffhanger.

As a reader, I was treated with clues that I would piece together, I like that the author didn't underestimate the readers and tried to subvert expectations in the wrong way. However, the main issue with the work is that the story reaches its peak as early as the fourth volume. She has been following the protagonist around and has learned to identify when the personality switches have taken place.Overall great character writing, every character has an appropriate amount of screentime and well written backstories. However, after a turning point in the story that abandons plenty of the set up elements that came beforehand, the tale turns into a thriller in which anyone could betray the protagonist at any point, and everybody has a secret to hide. At first several chapters it seems to be just a light atmosphere and cheerful one but by the next it's goes complete psychological and mystery. I legitimately think this is one of the most underrated mangas of all time, I won't understand anyone giving this manga a score lower than 9.
