If you already have a POE switch but realized that you need to run longer than 300 feet, you can add this POE extender to get another 300 feet from a normal (non-extended transmission) POE switch. ANR is a feature which allows a camera to record to an onboard MicroSD card, if it loses connection with the NVR. However, what we particularly liked about the camera was that we were able to adjust it freely post-installation. Since you have 2 copies of each cam, you can have one copy of the camera recording to its internal SD card and the NVR copy of the camera recording to the NVR. However any sort of granular camera controls or even basic live view to config is so hit and miss due to lack of updates of simple things like browser compatibility, I'd possibly look at alternatives.
