All this is made possible via the Yale Home App. Once connected to the app, you can secure, monitor and manage access to your home through your phone, from anywhere in the world*. After a nice vacation this summer, we were able to move to our new house in early August. I’ve written about the design phase of the home previously. Also, I have a few pictures of building the house here. Now the house is 99.1 % finished. The remainder is mostly detailing here and there. DoorSense™ is a function which will let you know whether your door is securely closed. If anything unexpected happens, like the door being left ajar, you will be the first to know. To perform remote access via Yale Home APP, a Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge is needed and it will be sold separately. Once installed, you can create custom pin codes for your family and guests. It’s pretty neat. After a month, I’m trustful enough that I leave my keys at home and utilize the pin code when I need to open the door. Overall experience

It provides remote access through the Yale Access app, plus it turns on a bunch of integrations, including IFTTT support. Note that IFTTT support is provided by the August service (Yale owns August).
