This group has been meeting since the charity's founding project, and continues to meet weekly, embroidering together. They have worked on a range of high quality projects, from making a life-size topiary hedge for Kew Gardens, to creating embroidered panels for curtains exhibited in Kensington Palace. All are welcome to join in, please do come along. Deshi Shad is also offering catering for private events, work lunches, conferences, Christmas parties, and all other occasions. We can offer you a selection of menus to choose from according to your needs, and are happy to deliver - and even serve - our delicious food at your premises. We have also been invited to design a cope for the new Bishop of St. Paul’s, the first women to be appointed to this post. Despite hosting the city’s financial district, it has the highest level of child and pensioner poverty in the country, as well as the greatest level of income inequality in the UK. This epic 5m visual frenzy is the result of our summer protest project with some amazing and opinionated local young people.
