Nektar makes your life simpler since this keyboard controller has few knobs and buttons. It features 61-note (five octaves) full-sized, velocity-sensitive keyboard and seven transport buttons. These buttons can also be assigned to MIDI messages which can be used with any MIDI software that’s not supported by the Nektar DAW Integration. I tried some quality electronic keyboard before, but this is the first one i own. I bought it for the price. and 61 key should be more then enough for me. It is important to only enable port 1 in the MIDI Devices window. If multiple ports are enabled Impact will not function correctly. Make sure your setup mirrors that of Image 2 and 6. Nektar DAW Integration makes Nektar Impact GXP and Cubase LE a fantastic combination, and lets you experience remote control direct from the hardware. The Nektarine plugin host and librarian software is of course also compatible and adds additional power to this setup.

Currently Nektar controllers will operate as generic MIDI devices when running Reaper, as native applications on M1 based Apple computers.
