I'm excited because my daughter is really only a year or two away from being able to watch Army of Darkness (it's pretty tame and any violence and what not is overly comedic).We only replace items if they are defective or damaged (Not including Sensitive or LED/Electronic Products). Ash features the likeness of the one and only Bruce Campbell, and comes with three interchangeable heads, chainsaw, axe, shotgun, lantern, tape player, and more! Comes package in a collector-friendly deluxe window box with an opening flap and bonus lenticular cover. But I’m thankful for what we got, and that I have one more figure to check out, so come on back next Friday and I’ll open up Henrietta the Deadite!

Ash does use a chainsaw in The Evil Dead but it's a different model from what he uses in the sequels. The detail here is every bit as good as I expect from NECA, even when they’re turning out another version of Ash and in a one-off outfit to boot. It’s a great look for him and it makes him appear as if he’s been stalking the halls of the Asylum and fighting its inhabitants for years.They then moved on to producing a series of highly detailed cult classic figures similar to McFarlane’s Movie Maniacs. I really expected this figure to just be a throwaway to pad out the wave, but I’m having a blast with him. Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the iconic cult classic movie The Evil Dead, NECA is excited to release a special Ultimate Ash 7” scale action figure! I couldn't tell you what Ash's shoes looked like in the first movie off hand but this seems to be a pretty good replica of them as far as I can tell.
