I like the ratio of mesh on the inside, I think it would provide good protection for colder windy nights, but also not get too hot in the summer if I just use the inner. The Naturehike Star River 2 is an ideal tent for one or two people who want to hit the trails outside of the hot summer months.

Inner is all mesh, which again was my main concern initially. If two people were sleeping inside, I think the tent might get warmed up on a cold breezy night, but for a single person, I don't feel it would be the right option. It's too big and too airy. If I were after a 2-person tent strictly, I think this would be my choice. Just be cautious before use in extended downpours, and make sure to spray the tent with an extra waterproof coating on a regular basis. There are also two separate doors, so you don’t have to climb over your tent buddy to come and go. This makes a huge difference when you are sharing a space. To avoid this, you’ll want to camp in a shady spot whenever possible. Keep your vents open all the time, and store any damp kit out of the sleeping compartment.
