After all, Ken really loved Trish and was completely heartbroken when he found out about his wife’s affair with his best friend Christian. Example: Karen's pregnant and he makes this into a "the world hates me because I'm too fucked up and this is my punishment" thing. But with Tessa’s inability to stick to her decisions and Hardin’s taste for being a total asshole, we can’t help but wonder if these two would simply be better off apart from each other.

As you may remember, Zed's been trying to get with Tessa since the beginning of time, but knowing he has a strong friendship with Tessa, Hardin puts that aside because he's desperate to help her however he can.

The “I’m your real daddy”plot line was the most interesting aspect of this final book and it’s kind of whitewashed over. As much as I loved to hate this couple, I have to admit that if there was ever a couple that stuck it out, it was them. Fast-forward to a year later, and Tessa is pregnant with a baby girl and then, six years later, with a baby boy! You try to help them, try to save them, but the moment that your love is one-sided or selfish, if you keep trying, you are a fool. No one, not even the doubting part of me, can make me feel bad for loving passionately and hoping desperately that I could have that great love that I’ve read about in novels. Even when I was rolling my eyes and ready to give up, I just had to know what would happen with these two damaged people.He’s apparently changing, becoming a better person while they work though these issues, and I suppose he is. The good thing is that Christian manages to get Hardin and Tessa out of the house and tells some story to the police to save Hardin from any charges.
