About this deal

Still, most might find them more than okay, especially if they are kids - and obviously that's who the book is written for. Phần kể chuyện của bác Walliams 3☆, nhưng cuốn sách này thú vị phần lớn nhờ phần minh họa của bác Tony Ross nên mình cho cuốn sách 4☆. His debut children's novel, The Boy in the Dress, was published in 2008 to unanimous critical acclaim and he has since developed a reputation as a natural successor to Roald Dahl.

Dat stoorde me, maar goed laten we nogmaals eerlijk zijn: voor kinderen is dit boek leuk om te lezen en dat is belangrijker. It has a feel at times of Hilare Belloc and Marriott Edgar, of often repellent children and their often justifiably sticky ends. They help us to know which pages are the most and least popular and see how visitors move around the site. We get to meet a boy who dribbles and sleeps the day away, another who cultivates his own nits to become a super-villain, one girl who can't stop moving, another who never throws anything away or cleans her room. These stories would provide a light hearted entertainment to all the pupils and teachers within the room, as there are many different and laughable adventures within the book.I love David Walliams' books because they are so entertaining and fast pace, this one was also entertaining and very fast pace (I've finished it in one sittung)but it wasn't as entartaining as the ones by David Walliams I've read before.

From the world’s favourite author, David Walliams – ten cautionary tales and a delightfully dreadful cast of characters; all in glorious FULL COLOUR! Walliams gets to play up to his silliest whims, and creates here a very funny series of short stories about the stereotypes that readers will most enjoy reading about - the most disgusting kid in class, the brainiest, the laziest. Everyone in my family enjoys David Walliams' naughty and silly sense of humour, and this collection of short stories about The World's Worst Children was great fun to read aloud during our half-term break. These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our site. I don't know if I'd go as far as saying that David Walliams is Roald Dahl's successor, I don't even think by a long shot but I see why people may link the styles together, what with illustrations being somewhat similar. I believe that this book would make a good ‘reading corner’ book for children of the upper ks2 years (years 4-6), as there is some difficult language and small writing/print involved within reading in the book.

I can't believe how dumb I have been before by not reading Walliams's books as regular books and not as audiobooks. The stories are fabulous, and even though they seem childish I have seen my parents burst out laughing.

Receive an exclusive digital excerpt of 'Bat Baby' and 'The Legend of The Wolfwere' before The World's Worst Monsters is released on 6 July!

This unique audiobook by David Walliams has the most peculiar stories about mischievous children with hilarious names, such as Petula Perpetual Motion. The key messages portrayed within the book convey messages surrounding ‘working hard and you will succeed’, making friends, as well as everyday behaviours that will make their life much more positive. Nothing is off bounds, giant bogey balls, seas of spit, stink monsters, bottom burps (in full colour of course). Even though I think he was a little surprised at the 'rude' nature of these stories, he liked the sticky endings of the nastiest children.

No surprise that my 10-year-old, who is a little stinker, particularly loved the story of "Windy Mindy".
