About this deal
The Osprey Poco LT has a small profile while wearing and collapses for easy and efficient traveling. We didn't experience anything falling out during testing, and the mesh fit our iPhone X without a problem. Osprey will repair any damage or defect for any reason free of charge – whether it was purchased in 1974 or yesterday. Ours tore while sliding it out of its sleeve (the mesh caught somewhere inside its pocket), and this latest Osprey seems to have an identical design. The Poco LT is made of light weight material that is breathable which does provide a cooler experience.

In addition, both baby backpack carriers include load lifters for an even better fit on the shoulders. Before attempting to put the carrier on with your child in you must adjust the hip belt, back panel, harness and torso length to suit your body shape and height. We do wish the hip belt pockets were zippered to prevent the loss of small (and usually important) items. This pack has been thoughtfully designed to be lightweight/compact and seems to be aimed at families on the go. Overall, given the high-quality build and sheer number of features, we think the Osprey’s weight is well-spent.I have to say that this is the biggest shortcoming of the Osprey child carrier, and it really annoyed me in the beginning. Osprey has been the only child carrier backpack manufacturer to date that scored a Kid Packer 10/10 for nap effectiveness! Osprey’s Poco Plus is a premium and well-built child carrier pack, but our favorite design this year is Deuter’s Kid Comfort. You simply open the pocket, pull it out upwards and then slide the rigid flaps of the sunshade into the appropriate sleeves on the front sides of the pack.

It's also lightweight, compact when folded, and features a stowaway harness and hip belt to keep straps secure when storing the pack.
Grab handles in multiple locations can really help when trying to put on a pack loaded with your child and gear. If you are interested in a pack built with child comfort in mind, take a look at the Deuter Kid Comfort Pro ( Review) and Osprey Poco Plus ( Review). The sunshade provides very good coverage but is made of mesh fabric on the sides so that your child can still see out and enjoy the view. Like most child carriers, the Poco LT backpack has a sunshade that’s easy to deploy and offers good coverage for kiddos. It has a lower profile, which makes it easier to maneuver and not hit other things (or people) while you’re twisting and turning on the trail.
