Cleaning the exterior: If any dirt builds up on the outside of your SLX, you can use a soft cloth with soap and water to wipe it away. It is made from extremely tough aerospace-grade aluminum and equipped with razor-sharp, uniquely shaped teeth that effortlessly shred your favorite dry herbs into a fluffy, more manageable consistency. The kief catching bottom chamber features a fine micron size pollen screen that lifts out without treads, so no kief will get lost in the screws. Gathering the pollen dust is made extremely easy with the included plastic scraper that is stashed in the bottom chamber. The SLX grinder also comes with drum-tight fine micron size stainless steel screens. These screens are to ensure that only the pollen of your herb gets filtered. And to make sure that this device does not leave your herb in pieces.

Aerospace-Grade Aluminum Machined out of 7075 T6 aluminum to prevent cross-threading, bent and broken teeth, or other damage. Most grinders are made from weaker 6 series aluminum. 7 series is more expensive to machine, but it ensures your SLX herb grinder will last a lifetime. However, harsh solvents may change the color of the logo, so proceed with caution. We will not replace units that have experienced a change in logo color or brightness. Tap the grinder lightly on a solid surface (we recommend doing this over a piece of paper so you can collect everything that comes out). ZERO Teflon® or PTFE Teflon® (PTFE) fumes are so toxic when inhaled that Dupont® had to ban its use in the tobacco industry. Even if we could use PTFE, we wouldn't - PTFE coatings are plastic based and not durable enough for serious use. You deserve the best when you buy a SLX herb grinder, and Teflon® doesn’t cut it.
