About this deal

I like the fact that the volca keys is a one-knob-per-function synth without any hidden menus or settings. That way you can get really hands-on with it and makes it a great synth to learn synthesis as well. With free, next day and Saturday delivery options available to many locations in the UK and Ireland, it's easy to get the product you want, when you want it! The popularity of modular synthesizers around the world has generated new excitement and interest in the so-called "West Coast style" of synthesis that deviates from traditional synthesis norms. Sounds like a real analogue synth all the VCO, VCF, LFO knobs help you create beautiful vintage sounds

First of all you can't find other real analog synths in the market with up to 3 part polyphony at this very low price.AC adapter “KA-350” (optional) Others Accessories AA alkaline battery ×6 (for verifying operation) Options AC adapter (KA-350) Dimensions In polyphonic mode, the amplifier and the filter envelope are retriggered each time a note is played, which can hinder certain playing styles. The oscillators are self-tuning: if the tuning drifts, ceasing to play for at least 10 seconds will allow the auto-tuning function to correct the pitches. The Volca Keys is a three oscillator analogue synthesizer. Whilst the synth has three note polyphony (the pitch of the oscillators can be individually controlled to play three notes simultaneously), it is paraphonic (the notes are not individually articulated, all three oscillators sharing a single filter and amplifier).

Unlike the Volca Bass, variation of many of the parameters on the Volca Keys can be recorded with a sequence – dubbed ‘Motion sequencing’ – including changes to the filter cutoff, detune, portamento, EG control of the oscillators, LFO rate and intensity controls and the EG controls. The Motion Sequence function lets you record knob movements, letting you apply time-varying changes to yourThe Volca keys is, in fact, a very good lead synth with up to 3 part polyphony, unison mode, ring modulator mode, and more." What is Volca Keys? With a simple structure that includes delay effect and a sequencer, it's also an ideal choice for a first analog synth. It offers the richly expressive sounds that are distinctive of analog, providing the enjoyment of simple yet deep sound-creation. The possibilities are endless; you can use the three oscillators to play chords, use them in unison with detune to produce solid lead lines, or apply ring modulation to create far-out metallic sounds. Here's what Korg say about the Volca Range The single Detune knob changes the pitch of the oscillators relative to each other. In Poly and Unison modes, the maximum Detune setting puts the pitch of VCO2 a semitone lower and VCO3 a semitone higher, in Unison mode this will result in the sound of two adjacent minor seconds. At less extreme settings, a more subtle, classic detuned oscillators sound can be obtained. With its structure of 3VCO, 1VCF, 1VCA, 1LFO, and 1EG, the volca keys has a recognizable, versatile structure. The ideal introductory synthesizer, with a simple – yet powerful – polyphonic analog sound engine and loop sequencer
