Alongside the grotto, the newly opened and much anticipated Planet Ice ice rink will create the ultimate festive day out for the whole family. Christmas is such an important time of the year for everyone at Cribbs and we are thrilled to have such a special experience for our many loyal shoppers and local families. Rail passengers are being warned to expect severe disruption on Christmas Eve because of the closure of two of London's busiest mainline stations. Paddington and Kings Cross will shut on December 24th forcing passengers to take lengthy diversions and adding around 90 minutes to some journeys. The Great Western mainline will be closed between Paddington and Ealing Common to allow engineering work on the new HS2 interchange station at Old Oak Common. Trains to and from South Wales and the West Country will terminate at Reading. The East Coast mainline will be closed between Kings Cross and Peterborough. Below are some trains from Paddington on the Sunday before Christmas Eve and on the 24th: Inside the house itself, guests can take a peek inside the kitchen where Paddington has been hard at work making his favourite marmalade. There are mountains of oranges and pans bubbling over with the orange stuff. Visitors get to walk through a Christmassy recreation of the London street where Paddington bear lives with the Brown family, before heading into their home to meet Santa's elves and Paddington himself. Families then get to individually meet Santa where children are given a gift. Every child will receive a specially created activity-book gift from Santa and families will also receive a special extra little something from Paddington. With charming characters to meet along the way, enchanting interactive scenes, and plenty of special photo opportunities, it promises to be a must-see attraction for all ages. Christmas with Paddington runs daily at the Trafford Centre until December 24, but all sessions are completely sold out. Every child will receive a specially created activity-book gift, as well as a special little something from Paddington himself.
Where is Cribbs Causeway?
There's an interactive doll's house version of the Brown mansion - where you can wave your hand to see cute scenes inside. Then an elf guide will take you through to the rooftops of London, where kids can peek into chimney tops and even slide down a chimney into the main living room of the Brown home. Available in all restaurants nationwide from 22nd November until 3rd January 2024, the Paddington Happy Meal encourages families to be kind like Paddington, the bear who has the power to ignite acts of kindness in everyone he meets. Alongside the Paddington and Santa grotto experience, families will also be able to ice skate at the much anticipated Planet Ice, making a visit to Cribbs the ultimate day out this Christmas. On 22 December at 6pm there is a Candlelit Festival of Lessons and Carols for Christmas at St. James Church on Sussex Gardens. We all know that children are naturally curious and love to learn new things. That is why, with each of these products, children will be able to explore a different interest with Paddington and contribute to the life of a child who lives elsewhere.”
