Legzira Beach located to the South of Agadir in Morocco is one of the most unique beaches in the world. The main highlight is the gigantic sea arches that dot the beach. Wait to catch the arch at its best during sunset when everything turns a bright red. The red arches are so immense that people standing under them appear like miniatures. (Fig. 1.65) There are two major types of coastal morphology: one is dominated by erosion and the other by deposition. They exhibit distinctly different landforms, though each type may contain some features of the other. In general, erosional coasts are those with little or no sediment, whereas depositional coasts are characterized by abundant sediment accumulation over the long term. Both temporal and geographic variations may occur in each of these coastal types.

The women waiting on them were dressed in white clothes. The arch is relatively easy to visit and is a perfect stop while en route to or from a day trip to Arranmore Island. The hike from Hellnar to Arnarstapi starts here by Fjöruhúsið on the right-hand side.
