About this deal

The Cloud Earbuds only come in one colorway, representing the brand’s famed color palette of red and black. In most video games you’ll want to hear vocals clearly, and be able to differentiate between sounds from various angles.

At one point, I connected to a laptop using Bluetooth and the laptop only seemed to recognize the Cloud MIX Buds’ microphone — but I could hear music through the earbuds, only it sounded extremely compressed. It doesn’t tangle very easily as well, which is supposedly the objective of the flat cable design in the first place. We put a lot of thought into the details of our HyperX signature memory foam, the premium leatherette, clamping force, and weight distribution to create a headset that’s comfortable through long gaming sessions. The iOS app is available now but I wasn’t able to get the Windows app to update and/or recognize the earbuds. Whether you want to focus on the competition or relax with some of your favorite games, there’s a Cloud that’s perfect for you. Music also sounds decent on the Cloud MIX Buds, though earbuds aren’t ever my first choice for music.

The LED on the charging case will flash blue when you’re in pairing mode, and then all you have to do is pair the earbuds to your device. GHz mode to Bluetooth mode using the mode button on the wireless dongle, and ended up with just static in one ear. It's slightly expensive for the Indian market, especially because it's dedicated to gaming and wired. The HyperX Cloud Gaming Earbuds are somewhat in the budget range of earphones when compared to in-ear monitors. Not much is known about HyperX’s background origins, but the company’s accolades and achievements over the years are impressive.

She studied Multimedia Arts and Video and Motion Graphics, which has given her extensive insight into the workings behind games, films, and sound production. And even though you can’t expect too much in terms of sound isolation, microphone quality, or any advanced gaming features, you should still be able to have a decent gaming experience. And even though you can’t expect too much in terms of sound isolation or microphone quality, you should still be able to have a decent gaming experience.

Mids and highs sound good, but the lows are underwhelming, which also means you'd not get the thumping bass you expect while listening to some genres of music.

The charging case has a single multi-purpose button on the back, which is used for Bluetooth pairing and checking the case’s battery level. For Bluetooth, you’ll need to long-press the button on the charging case while the earbuds are in the case and the case is open.

We're focusing more smartphone gamers because, in India, the number of Nintendo Switch users would be much smaller than the former. In contrast to my experience, the Cloud Earbuds were actually advertised to come with enhanced bass. Feel the HyperX difference in the details like our signature memory foam, premium leatherette, weight distribution and clamping force. The sound is generally clean, crisp and clear that can suffice basic music need, but audiophiles might not get the feeling they expect on a Rs 5,999 earbuds. Comfort is king and the Cloud III’s fit for royalty, delivering luxurious comfort for all-day gaming or marathon streams. In an effort to achieve total sound isolation, I turned the volume up to the maximum level, but this resulted in major sound leakage.
