About this deal

The one thing (as with most items) is don’t get drawn in to false economy when it comes to buying outdoor gear.

looks good! My NU25 doesn't have a green light . . .has 2x stages of Red light plus an additional white flood . . ? Box 3, Fishing and Bushcraft gear: a X5 Adventure Fishing rod by rigged and ready, opinel filleting knife, Fiskars Camping Axe, Mora Knife, Atwood and various bits of fishing gear. I love the fact you can use them as an emergency power bank (but don’t think you can charge everything of them as they only have a 2600mAh Lithium battery. The remote control is very handy so you can turn them on but the range isn’t huge.

The awning room has been designed to fit on the awning on any car. There’s two sizes: for cars upto 1.7m tall and 2.2m. With the glasses on. Which always steam up when u first put them on. Either in the winter or with the damp in the air Yes, initially they are cheaper but will they last, will they put up with extreme conditions and will they stand the test of time if its to be mounted on your car for the duration of the year? Waterproof rating】Dustproof rainproof function, Make sure you don’t worry UK Crazy rainy days when outdoor camping fishing, hiking, cycling etc. The Tentbox Cargo has three doors ( one on each side and one on the reat) so it depends on how you want to use it where you install the clips for the ladder.

I had a led lenser and got rid,it was bulky and ate batteries.I have two Fenix and they are very well made,I have a rechargeable one and it lasts for ages. The other Fenix runs off two types of batteries a single aa or cr123a.There is a nitecore one that alot of people on here really rate Rechargeable lithium batteries are becoming quite common in this house . Have a massive 500 quid one for the ebike. Which has a USB out. Bit heavy for fishing. So I bought a small 30000mh one. Charges my phone and ipad loads of times. Wife has a little cylinder one for her phone. So charging it will never be an issue. colors light source:White/High CRI white/Red, meeting Camping,Fishing,Trekking,Biking, Reading etc.use.This stunning area reminds me of the nordic tundra and offers plenty of opportunities for wild camping, with stunning views of mountains, lochs, and forests (try Glen Etive in the highlands near Glencoe). I'm looking for a new head torch and I think I've narrowed it down to the Led Lenser mh6 or the fenix HL 32r. Anyone have any experience with these? So, finally in Scotland in the land of legal wild camping, how does it go in a roof tent? Well it’s a bit of a grey area, as many forest carparks are being used under ‘Stay the Night’. I've also remembered why I don't particularly like it for fishing, IIRC the red option isn't very bright, the white however is mental on full blast

Pretty much the same thing mate. Be crazy to buy the Nitecore at double the price imo. Nothing in it quality wise. I got the nitecore last week and very impressed. Much smaller and lighter than I imagined. And surpasses anything that I need. Except when the battery has run down it doesnt fade, it just goes off... a bit of a faff if your away from your spare torch. but if its the same weight and lasts as long between charges and same light output power with the added benefit of a green light as well for half the price its a win win We find the the cargo gives us an extra bedroom when we a using the caravan: 1 child in the front of the caravan and one in the roof tent, he loves it as it has power, he has his own space and it saves setting up a bed in the caravan awning. Another great gadget for overloading: Lifesaver Cube.Box 2, Cooking gear: gas stove (these are brilliant), i’ve had this one years and the replacement gas is cheap as well, foldable washing bowl, chopping board, Stabilotherm JÄGARSTEKPANNA ORIGINAL Carbon Steel Frying Pan (one of my best investments, see video), cutlery roll, Ridge Monkey frying pan (can be used as a sandwich toaster or two separate frying pans, Washing up kit (including soap, dishcloth and tea towel, Silicone kettle and no cook box should go without a tub of Old Bay Spice I like the fact the Fenix are so well made, the nitecore just seems to be cheap plastic but could be wrong Slightly off subject, my strap on my fenix hl50 broke last week, has anyone ( oldgeezer ) got a link for a replacement please

The first real test was a camping session with a few friends in North Wales in January. It supposed to be a paddling expedition down the river Dee but due to high water levels most people called it of but myself Simon a bloke in the woods, and Matty from Magpie outdoors decided to go ahead. Thanks for this thread guys. Never been too interested in headtorches. Use light as little as possible. Hate being blinded by other anglers. In Scotland, wild camping is legal in most areas, as long as you follow the Scottish Outdoor Access Code. This code outlines the responsibilities and best practices for wild camping, such as camping away from houses, being respectful of the environment, and leaving no trace. Please take a look at the video above if you’re interested in making your own solar charging battery box for your rooftent. Below is a list of pretty much all the items you will need:

If not a rainy day means you’ll be holding up inside the roof tent where there isn’t a great deal of space. The law states staying in a roof tent isn’t covered by the Scottish Access Rights. Public or private land owners can restrict or regulate parking on their land, you must comply with this. Can’t comment on the Nitecore but Ive had the Sunblesa a while and love it, that said I’ve not put it in the washing machine, I have however left it on the roof of my Bivvy during some torrential rain and it’s none the worse for it’s dowsing.
