Alan Kane Fraser’s beautiful work about life the other side of the easel – its impact, its anonymity, the inevitable betrayal – both compels and disturbs.There was quite a focus on a regency novel which formed the basis of the storyline and the cottage that the girls were staying in, it gave me bridgerton vibes (although I’ve never seen/read that so I could be imagining wildly here). The bright blue eyes and sexy scruffiness that melt other women's hearts seem to have no effect on her.

Pretty quick read, graphics ok, a very different style of drawing as to what I was expecting, rough, edgy, but worked. Happy-go-lucky, rich, spoilt Tori is just along for the ride and the chance to share the Hope Falls love.

When the Fabulous Four unexpectedly show up on her doorstep to support her through this complicated time, things seem to be looking up for Amanda.Intent on revenge and taking out the four guys involved it looked like it was going to be a bit of a boring generic story. So when Tori can’t go at the last minute the girls worry they won’t be able to go so when they find Alex who also wants to stay at Hope Falls Em and Rachelare relieved they’ll still be able to go. Every book I have read by Melanie Shawn is just great because you come away from the last page feeling like you are leaving home and friends.
