USS Valley Forge (CG-50) was a Ticonderoga-class cruiser in the United States Navy. She was named for Valley Forge, where the Continental Army camped during one winter in the American Revolution. The Casio FX-CG50 is a scientific calculator designed for advanced mathematics, science, and engineering applications. It features a high-resolution colour display that enables students to distinguish functions, graphs, and other mathematical expressions with greater clarity. The calculator has a built-in computer algebra system that allows the user to perform complex calculations, plot graphs, and solve equations. It can also generate tables and charts of statistical data. During the 1986 RIMPAC naval exercise, she acted as the plane guard for the aircraft carrier USS Ranger. This is the first NICE short guideline to be developed.
