About this deal

Guitars in this price range, whether they’re acoustic or electric, almost always use cheap hardware. It’s one of the biggest ways manufacturers cut costs to introduce affordable instruments into their lineups. That said, the Cordoba C5 actually has pretty nice hardwire. The fingerboard, otherwise known as the fretboard, is the part of the guitar which you interact with the most. It is, therefore, necessary that this part of the guitar possesses great hardware as this would make the interaction better and a lot more enjoyable. The Fishman Presys Blend comes with volume control, built-in tuner with LED display, and also works with a 9-volt battery (already provided). Guild guitars have factories in different countries, including the United States, China, South Korea, and Indonesia. In a world taken over by modern technology and electric guitars, Cordoba guitars became the pacesetters for the evolution of nylon string guitars.

Finally, the guitar comes with a lot of accessories, including an instructional DVD which is great for beginners. In fact, the only two that are considered equally superior in this category are ebony and, of course, rosewood. Furthermore, there are two types of rosewood which could have been used. There’s the exotic Brazilian rosewood, and then there’s the Indian rosewood. A flamenco-style guitar is a type of guitar made solely for the purpose of playing flamenco guitar music. Physically, It is quite similar to a classical guitar. However, that’s where the similarity stops with these two types of guitars. The other two guitars in the series though – the C7 CD/IN and the C7-CE – come with clip-on tuners as an additional accessory. Tone is more or less big and boxy with decent volume. But the responsive nature of the guitar is that of an entry level instrument. It's not to say it doesn't sound good. But playing loudly and softly, doesn't give much contrast in tones. It's an all or nothing sound, play loud and the box thumps out notes. Play soft and there is less volume. There is a small amount of sustain. The Cedar top does indeed give a warm mellow sound, and it sounds more "Spanish" if you will, with Aquila Nylgut strings. The supplied factory Savarez strings of the guitar were very much bright, loud and clear. The C12 sp is a grand mix of modern and traditional design. It’s handmade from solid Indian rosewood and European spruce with a fretboard raised a little higher for easier playing from the 12 th fret.

So, of course, when you compare this to the C7-CE CD/IN, you find that it doesn’t sound quite as natural. But if you play your cards right, you should be able to make this sound good enough. You can easily deduce this from the fact that the guitar is also available in acoustic-electric. If you’ve never held a guitar before, we’re sure you won’t be needing it to be connected to blasting speakers the first time you play. However, in 2014, Guild got acquired from Fender Musical Instruments Corporation by Cordoba Music Group.

The Cordoba C5 Is Unparalleled in Its Quality & Price

So, for this important part of a guitar, there are usually three choices – maple, ebony, and rosewood. Many experts swear by the last two though. For both guitars, Cordoba chose to go for rosewood. There are different types of tonewoods manufacturers choose from when making the top part of guitars. However, for Cordoba, the Iberia guitars are either European spruce or Canadian cedar top. However, we’ll start out by saying that the “best guitarist” might be subjective based on different preferences and perspectives.
