But no, you just haven’t used it long enough. However, when I was using the Melano CC Vitamin C Brightening Premium Essence, I noticed that it did feel a little oily on my skin. I had to wait a little bit for it to sink into the skin before I could proceed with my moisturiser and sunscreen, otherwise, it would just feel generally rather greasy. When it comes to skincare, sometimes less is more. Those with sensitive skin may prefer minimal ingredient products

BG’s main job is usually to be a solvent for the other ingredients. Other tasks include helping the product to absorb faster and deeper into the skin (penetration enhancer), making the product spread nicely over the skin (slip agent), and attracting water (humectant) into the skin. The EU Allergen Free label is for the 26 ingredients identified by the EU SCCS and products will be only flagged if a suspected ingredient is on it's ingredient list. It is possible for cosmetics to contain one of the suspect ingredients without it appearing on the ingredient list due to it not reaching the concentration threshold to disclose it and cosmetic manufacturers choice to not disclose it. I hauled 5 tubes of this when i was in Japan and it was on sale for the sake of my acne scars. Found it to be quite oily though.They help loosen up the dirt and grime from your skin and hair to allow for water to wash it away with ease.

Most people will find no issues with sulfate, however if you find your skin doesn't like sulfates then free feel to avoid them by looking out for the sulfate-free icon on Skincarisma. A nice odorless liquid used mainly as a superior solubilizer and efficacy booster for cosmetic active ingredients such as vitamin C or benzoyl peroxide. When I shared my review of the Melano CC Vitamin C Brightening Essence a few years ago, a few people commented that it felt oily, and asked why I did not mention it. The odd thing was that I never noticed the oily texture. I think the incorporation of different Vitamin C ingredients in the Premium Essence could be a good thing, as some of the Vitamin C derivatives are known to be more gentle on the skin. However, I personally feel that I’d prefer having just 1 or maybe 2 types of Vitamin C in the serum, just so it works better.
